Next, ascend the city’s most famous landmark, the iconic Table Mountain, via cable car (weather permitting). From the summit, take in sweeping panoramic views of Cape Town, Table Bay, and the sparkling Atlantic Ocean.
From here, we journey along the Atlantic Seaboard, stopping at Camps Bay, a glamorous seaside neighbourhood framed by the Twelve Apostles Mountain Range and known for its pristine white sandy beach. Stop at maiden s cove or Campsbay Beach awesome known as the Beverly hill or Bel air of the Mother City Continue to the charming fishing village of Hout Bay, where you may browse the local market or simply enjoy the scenic harbour. Then, experience one of the world’s most spectacular coastal drives along Chapman’s Peak Drive, with its dramatic cliffs, hairpin bends, and breathtaking ocean vistas.
Take a relaxing break at Noordhoek Farm Village for refreshments – a perfect spot to enjoy coffee, tea, or light snacks – before heading to a local ostrich farm for a fun encounter with these fascinating birds.
The journey then leads to the dramatic landscapes of the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, a rugged headland home to unique flora and wildlife. Visit the famous Cape of Good Hope, the most south-western point of Africa, where the cold Atlantic (Benguela Current) meets the warm Indian Ocean (Agulhas Current). Enjoy a short hike to soak up the natural beauty and refreshing Atlantic breeze.
Continue to Cape Point, where you can ascend to the old lighthouse by hiking well-maintained trails or riding the Flying Dutchman Funicular. From the top, marvel at spectacular 360° views of False Bay and the surrounding ocean.
