Zanskar is an ancient Buddhist Kingdom hidden deep in the western reaches of the majestic Himalayas. The contrast of the vast array of flora and fauna within this harsh and barren landscape is something to see as are the deep gorges and green fields of barley. North of Singe La the views of the snow-capped peaks of the Ladakh range are incredible. On this trekking route you will cross nomadic camps and ancient monasteries. One of which “Karsha Monastery” found in Padum is one of the largest and most revered Monastery in Zanskar and given its position on a steep mountain it offers fantastic views of the Zanskar Valley.Flights
