Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Tbilisi - Kutaisi - Zugdidi - Mestia

  Early morning depart from Tbilisi towards west Georgia, – Kutaisi. En route, visit to 12th century Gelaty Academy and Monastery Complex, which has preserved a great number of murals and manuscripts dating back to the 12th-17th centuries and is UNESCO’S WORLD HERITAGE SITE. Continue driving further to the north, we will visit A graceful patrimonial palace of Dadiani princes. Our route will end in Mestia. Upper Svaneti, a land of extraordinary beauty with its highlands dotted by medieval villages and Svanetian defensive towers. At the end of the day, dinner and overnight in local guest house.

• Day 2 : Mestia - Ushguli

  After breakfast, drive to the most attractive and remote areas of Georgia. Village Ushguli is one of the highest inhabited places in Europe, which is included in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We will also see the surroundings of Ushguli and visit Ushguli’s Ethnographic museum. At evening we will return to Mestia, have a dinner and overnight at the guest house.

• Day 3 : Mestia - Tbilisi

  Breakfast. Visit to the museum of Mestia, which boasts ancient manuscript, icons, metal-work, metal work, coins and artifacts. Visit Lagami St. George church and Svan dwelling complex. On the way back to Tbilisi, Lunch in the nature and short stops at Sataflia and Prometheus caves
