Tbilisi city break Tour

Meeting at the airport with assistant, transfer to the apartment or hotel, located in the city center. Assistant will explain you about surrounding area, provide you with all needed information.

This is a wonderful trip through the windy streets of Old Tbilisi. During the trip, you will visit historical part of Tbilisi. This district is known as Old Tbilisi, here you will find lots of cozy, two story houses with inner gardens, decorated with beautiful and colorful balconies; we will see domes of Sulfur Bathes, these bathes are referred in the legend about the capital city. Far away in the V century king Vakhtang Gorgasali chose this place to build the capital city of his kingdom because of the hot springs, the name of the city comes from this legend as well, the word “Tbili” means “warm” in Georgian. During the trip you will also visit main citadel of the city – Narikala fortress with unforgettable panoramic view over the city. Visit of beautiful churches, synagogue, and mosque located very close to each other. You will walk on the pedestrian street Sharden, Caravans used to pass through this street and merchants stayed in the Caravanserais nearby, one of the main Silk Roads passed through Tbilisi, for today Sharden Street is the beloved place for local people as lots of cafes, restaurants, clubs and galleries are located here. We will pass through the main avenue of Tbilisi – Rustavely Avenue and Main Square – Freedom Square. (Duration of the excursion is 3 ½ hours)
