Pachmarhi is a hill station in Madhya Pradesh state of central India. It is situated at a height of 1100 m in a valley of the Satpura Range in Hoshangabad district. Pachmarhi is widely known as Satpura ki Rani or ‘Queen of Satpura’. You can best visit this place in the month of October until March. Summer season begins from May and ends til July with 35°C as the highest recorded temperature. Monsoons set in the month of July and last till September. Winters start from November and last up to February, with 4°C as the lowest temperature recorded.

Road: Pachmarhi is well connected by roads and can be directly reached by bus or a shared taxi. A gypsy can be hired if you want to travel around this place.

If you want to witness festivity then you must make a visit to Pachmarhi at the time of Shivratri Mela where 100,000 sadhus and pilgrims come together to become a part of the celebrations which is symbolic in itself.
