Tikamgarh is a town located in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It has been a part of the erstwhile kingdom of Orrcha. Tikamgarh is named after Lord Krishna as "Tikam" was one of the names of the religious figurine in Hinduism. This town has emerged as a popular travel destination due to its tantalizing surroundings.

Sprawling across 21 sq. km. of land, Tikamgarh is elevated at a height of 1,145 feet. It is adorned by the breathtaking landscapes and tranquil water bodies. The jagged terrains of this town are fed by the waters of the River Betwa. The climate of Tikamgarh is described as moderate in nature. During the summers, the temperatures rise up to 40°C on an average, whereas, fall down and rest at 16°C on an average during the winter season.
