Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Early morning transfer for flight to Leh. Arrival and transfer to guest House. Afternoon free.

• Day 2 : Thicksey

  Full day 6/7 hrs, Sightseeing at Shey, Thicksey and Hemis monasteries. By jeep, 110 km,

• Day 3 : Leh to Spituk

  Leh to Spituk Phyang Alchi, Likir and back to Leh.

• Day 4 : Leh to Chilling

  Leh to Chilling drive 2 hrs route, trek to Sku 4/5 hrs, Cross the Zanskar river by bridge and follow a lovely trail to camp at Skiu. 4/5 hrs..walk. Overnight Camp.

• Day 5 : Markha (3810m)

  A full walking day 7/8 hrs. Cross the Markha River at two places to the village of Chalak. Beyond this settle-ment is an impressive line of chortens and a huge mound of goat horns. Follow the Markha River to the village of Markha to camp overnight.

• Day 6 : Thachungtse

  Follow the main trail passing the monastery at Humlung to the village of Hankar. We now go away from the wide valley and go up a narrow valley to the pastures at Thachungtse. (5-6hrs). Overnight-Camp.

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 7 : Nimaling (4700m):- Approx.

  3-4hrs from Thachungtse, the trail climbs steeply to the plateau and pastures of Nimaling with impressive views of Kangyassey peak. Overnigth Camp.

• Day 8 : Chogdo

  Begin a gradual climb of about 2 hrs to the top of Kongmarula (5030m), the highest point on the trek with excellent views of the Stok range and the Karakoram range of mountains. Descend to the wooded gorge to camp at Chogdo. 4/5 hrs walk, Overnight Camp.

• Day 9 : Shangphu

  Follow the Shang Tokpo (stream). 2 hrs trek and then drive up to Leh by jeep, Leh Hotel.

• Day 10 :

  Leh to Stok jeep trek to Mankarmo. 4/5 hrs trek. Camp.

• Day 11 :

  Mankarmo to Stok Kangri base 5/6 hrs trek.

• Day 12 : Summit

  Base To Summit Base.

• Day 13 : Leh

  Base to Stok 5/6 trek jeep to Leh.

• Day 14 : Delhi

  Depart for Delhi by the morning flight.
