This is a jeep safari to one of the remotest regions of Himachal Pradesh - Lahaul and Spiti valley. You will get to visit remote valleys, villages and high mountain passes with spectacular views of snow Lahaul - Spiti capped peaks, rugged terrain and old monasteries.

Here lie vistas whose beauty seems matchless. Snow draped peaks lose their heights in the clouds, while below them lie high meadows of soft grass, thick forests with a variety of flora and fauna, deep valleys with small hamlets and fascinating architecture.

Day Wise Breakup

Day 1 - Arrival Manali.

Morning arrival at Manali. Transfer to Hotel. Rest day at Leisure. O/N Manali.

Day 2 - Manali - Kaza (8 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Kaza reach Chattru for tea Break, Enroute have a magnificent View of Bara Shigri Glaciers. Corss Kunzam Pass 15,900 ft (Gateway to Spiti Valley) Reach Losar for tea Break and Entry for Tourist at Check Post. Arrival at kaza by late Afternoon. O/N Kaza.

Day 3 - Kaza - Local Sightseeing.

After Breakfast leave for Kaza Sightseeing of Ki Monastery & Gete Village (Highest permanently inhabited village in Asia Connected with Road) & the village of Kibber. The Gompa at Kibber is situated above the village and is one of the best preserved in the region. On the return journey to Kaza you are rewarded with some excellent views of the Spiti mountainscapes. O/N Kaza.

Day 4 - Kaza - Tabo & Back to Kaza.

After Breakfast leave for Tabo. Tabo: One of the most important gompas, not just in Spiti but in the Whole of the Tibetan Buddhist world. There is also a modern gompa and painting school founded by the Dalai Lama. Even Today Tabo holds the distinction of being the largest monastic complex in Spiti, constructed in 996 AD, Lunch at Tabo Hotel, Enroute visit to Dhankar Gompa & Fort. Back to kaza by Late Afternoon. O/N Kaza.

Day 5 - Kaza - Chandratal Lake (4-5 Hrs)

Morning After Breakfast leave for Chandra Tal, by crossing Kunzam Pass (15,900 ft) reach Chandra Tal (This Deep Blue Water Has A Circumference Of 2.5 Kms. This Is The Source Of The River Chandra. O/N in camp at road side.

Day 6 - Chandratal - Manali

Morning after breakfast drive back to Manali via Rohtang Pass. Overnight in Guest house at Old Manali. We book you the accommodation and then the services end there only. Though if you would like us to arrange something for you, we would get it done.
