Our safari package takes you to the well-loved spots of Northern Tanzania, traversing through Tarangire and Serengeti national parks. Be amazed by the native flora and fauna found at the
world’s largest caldera, the Ngorongoro crater. This memorable adventure is not one to be missed, with guaranteed wildlife sighting and more.
Day 1 : Arusha- Tarangire National park
In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Four Point Arusha Sheraton and drive to Tarangire National Park, which is known for its huge baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Its sparse vegetation makes it a beautiful and special location, where up to 300 elephants can be found, looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds. Migratory wildebeest, zebra and buffalo can also be seen crowding the shrinking lagoons. Here you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch.
Day 2 : Serengeti National Park
Today you drive to one of the most famous game parks in Africa, the Serengeti! Known to host one of the most amazing wildlife spectacles on earth – the great migration of wildebeest and zebra.
– the Serengeti’s vast plains are also home to a haven of other wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards and many other predators.
Day 3 : Serengeti National Park
Today we will wake up very early in the morning (around 6 am) for a sunrise game drive and to spot the animals when they are most active. We will then stop at a picnic site to enjoy breakfast in the bush and continue with the game drive before returning to the camp (around noon) for hot lunch, load the vehicle, depart camp and continue to Ngorongoro where we will have dinner and overnight at Angata Campsite
Day 4 : Ngorongoro Crater to Mto wa Mbu
Today you will wake up to do an early morning game drive after breakfast. You will descend to the crater, inhabited by almost all species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the black rhino. In fact, the crater has the greatest concentration of wildlife in the planet. It contains a river, several swamps and a soda lake that from the top looks like steam, full of flamingos, a forest and open plains. The large bull elephants that reside here have an extremely large tusks, due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses. Drive to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 : Lake Manyara National Park To Arusha
After breakfast, you will drive to your final destination on this epic safari - Lake Manyara National Park. This is a relatively small but diverse park, 120km west of Arusha. The park’s namesake is a shallow, Salt Lake. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. On your exploration of the park you will see monkeys, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant and with some luck, lions lounging in the trees. The park is known for its diverse landscapes; not only open grassy plains, but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab dotted cliffs. After lunch, you will head back to Arusha.
