Agra is known all over the world for the symbol of love the Taj Mahal. Fatehpur Sikri is a spot to explore the Mughal heritage. Whereas Ranthambore is one of the finest places to view tiger and other animals. The spot is wildlife enthusiasts’ and shutterbug's dream destination. This is famous for the frequent tiger sightings. You will be picked up from your preferred location or hotel in Gurgaon in a sophisticated car to begin visit to Ranthambore national park. Gurgaon to Agra distance is 237 km which takes about 3.30 hours. En route Agra to Jaipur we find Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri to Ranthambore national park distance is 263 km which takes about 4.30 hours. Ranthambore to Jaipur distance is about 170 km which takes about 3.30 hours.
Day 1 : Guest Pick Up/ Drive to Agra
Guest picked up and we begin drive towards Agra. Upon arrival we take a hotel. After refreshment we visit Taj Mahal and Agra fort.
Taj Mahal: One of the most glorious buildings built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal. It is also one among the 7 wonders of the world. See it to know how the monument changes colour at different times of the day, from pink in the morning, white in the evening and golden at night under moon light. The changing color resembles the changing mood of the queen.
Agra fort: Agra Fort is a great structure built in red sandstone. A story is attached with this great fort. It is believed that Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb for 8 years in ‘Mussaman Burj’ of Red Fort where he died ultimately. Night rest.
Day 2 : Fatehpur Sikri Sightseeing/ Drive to Ranthambore.
We explore heritage city Fatehpur Sikri. This famous city, built by Akbar, is a superb example of Mughal Architecture. It was uninhabited due to water scarcity. Here we explore Buland Darwaja, Diwan-i-Khas and Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti.
Buland Darwaja: This 54 metres tall structure is one of the biggest gateways in the world. It was erected by Akbar to celebrate his triumph over Gujarat. It opens from 6 am to 6 pm daily.
Diwan-i-Khas: At this place Emperor Akbar used to discuss religious faiths with eminent people.
Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti: This highly honoured place is a marble structure reflecting excellence in architectural designs.
After sightseeing we proceed towards Ranthambore. Upon arrival we take a hotel.
Night rest.
Day 3 : Ranthambore Sightseeing/ Leave for Jaipur
We explore the Ranthambore national park and see tigers in action amidst a picturesque environment close to Thar Desert. The park offers spectacular sights which are just incredible. November to March is the best period to visit the park. Apart from leopards, tigers, Sambhar, deer and so on, over 260 species of birds are also found here. Tourists can also enjoy Jeep safari here. After enjoying Ranthambore we move towards Jaipur. Upon arrival we take a hotel. Night rest.
Day 4 : Jaipur Sightseeing/ Back Tour
In Jaipur we see Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Amber fort.
Hawa Mahal: The palace of winds is the most renowned landmark of Jaipur. It was built in 1799 by Sawai Pratap Singh. There are 953 knottily carved jharokhas in the building. The building was planned for the royal family to have a peak into the everyday life of the city.
Jantar Mantar: Built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh this unique structure is listed in UNESCO World Heritage list. It has 14 astronomical instruments designed for time measurement, track cosmic bodies and study the orbits of the planets.
Amber Fort: Amber Fort is an important tourist spot of Jaipur. It is an enthralling example of blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Its Seesh Mahal is globally renowned for its artistry in sparkling mirrors.
After exploring major spots we begin back trip to Gurgaon for drop at a preferred location.
