Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival - Shanti Stupa

  Arrival Leh by morning flight and transfer to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). In the late afternoon visit the City Centre for an orientation walk in Leh Bazaar, followed by a visit to Shanti Stupa.

• Day 2 : Leh - Local Sightseeing

  After leisurely breakfast visit Shey Palace, Sindhu Ghats, Thiksey Monastery
  & Stok Palace Museum. Post lunch visit Hall of Fame, Kali Mandir ('Temple of Guardians' (Gon-khang in Spituk monastery), Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Point.

• Day 3 : Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh

  Full day excursion to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on
  the Indo-China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.) After sightseeing and lunch at the
  lakeside, drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening.

• Day 4 : Leh - KhardongLa - Leh

  Excursion to Khardong-La (80 kms round trip), highest motorable pass in the
  world (alt: 18,380 ft.) and recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the markets for shopping etc.
