Porini Amboseli is an award-winning safari camp within the exclusive Selenkay Conservancy– an important wildlife dispersal area for wildlife moving out of Amboseli National Park. The private conservation area ensures the best possible game viewing off the beaten track and away from other tourist vans and minibuses. Porini Amboseli Safari Camp has just 9 spacious guest tents and retains all the charm and feel of the traditional mobile safari camps of days gone by. Tents are tastefully furnished and have solar powered electric lighting with en suite bathrooms including shower, wash basin and flush toilet. The camp provides an exclusive yet friendly experience with a maximum of 18 guests at a time and it is fully-inclusive of all meals, drinks and activities.
Porini Rhino Camp, Ol Pejeta This small and intimate eco- camp is located between the Aberdares and the majestic Mount Kenya. The conservancy is home to a variety of animals including the “Big Five”. It is the largest sanctuary in East Africa for the endangered Black Rhino and is also a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees. Porini Rhino Camp is in a secluded valley, on the banks of a seasonal river and under the shade of acacia trees. The camp consists of just seven spacious and comfortable guest tents, each having been carefully sited to take advantage of the wonderful surrounding views. Each tent is tastefully furnished and has solar-power lighting and ensuite hot shower and flush toilet. The camp is specially designed to have minimum environmental impact. The camp is fully inclusive of meals, drinks as well as day and night shared game drives, escorted walks, sundowners, a visit to Baraka the Black Rhino & Information Center and a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary.
Porini Lion Camp, Olare Motorogi is an eco-friendly camp offering a unique opportunity to take guided walks with Maasai Warriors and experience day and night game drives within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy – a pristine and exclusive 33000-acre wilderness set aside for wildlife conservation and low-impact tourism. Porini Lion Camp is located in unique and stunning setting on the banks of the seasonal Ntiakatiak River within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy. This large area borders the Masai Mara National Reserve and is home to an abundance of animals including the Mara’s renowned Big Cats. There is unsurpassed game-viewing within the conservancy due to its unspoiled natural state and the Porini Lion Camp – with just ten tents – ensures guests have a genuine “away from it all” experience deep in the African bush. The high-quality, spacious tents are tastefully furnished and each has solar-powered lighting, ensuite facilities (with hot shower and flush toilet) and a private verandah. Porini Lion Camp accommodation is fully inclusive of all meals, drinks as well as all activities.
