The Old Silk Route in Sikkim is one of the offshoots of the ancient Silk Road, which was once a long and wide network of trade avenues. This Silk Road had been part of a cultural or social amalgamation. It encompassed various regions of Asia and connected India’s East and West, China and Pakistan across the Mediterranean Sea. The part passing through Sikkim connecting India and China via the Nathu La, Lhasa and Jelep La Pass, reaches Tamralipta in West Bengal. The place is now known as Tamluk. It is believed that this road was chanced upon by traders in the First Century AD itself! From here, the Silk Road connects to the sea in the east. The road extends more than 6,000 km. It was once used for extensive trade of copper, gold, sugar, cotton, salt, tea, horses etc. Did you know that this is the first information superhighway in the world?   Board by 02377 UP SDAH-NOQ SPL at 11:20 P.M. from Sealdah

  Arrive New Jalpaiguri in the morning. After breakfast start for Icchey
  Gaon. Reach Icchey Gaon in the noon and transfer to Homestay.
  Night stay at Icchey Gaon

• Day 3 : ramdhura delo park rameity

  After breakfast start for Sellery Gaon, on the way visit Ramdhura
  View Point, Delo Park, Hanuman Temple reach Sellery Gaon and
  transfer to Homestay. After lunch visit Rameiteye View Point by
  walk. Night stay at Sellery Gaon.

• Day 4 : rangali limtham

  After breakfast start for Limtham. On the way visit Rangali for permit
  reach Limtham and transfer to Hotel. Night stay at Limtham

  • Themes Hill Stations & Valleys
• Day 5 : zuluk nathang zic zac road thamvi kupup elephant lake

  After breakfast start for Zuluk reach Zuluk and visit Nathang Valley,
  Zic Zac Road, Thamvi View Point, Baba Mandir (Old) Kupup
  Elephant Lake. Night Stay at Zuluk.

• Day 6 : ariter kuakhola lampokhri lake mankhim

  After breakfast start for Ariter on the way visit Kuakhola Falls,
