Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : theni to thekkady

  Day 1: Theni to Thekkady – The Spice Town Arrival
  Time Activity Description
  08:00 AM Luxury Pickup & Departure Your spacious A/C Luxury Tempo Traveller will pick up your entire group from your preferred location in Theni.
  08:30 AM Drive to Thekkady Begin the comfortable drive to Thekkady (Kumily). (Approx. 1.5 hours travel time for the ~64 km route).
  10:30 AM Hotel Check-in & Relaxation Arrive in Thekkady, check into your hotel/resort, and take some time to relax.
  01:30 PM Lunch Have lunch at a local restaurant in Kumily.
  03:00 PM Spice Plantation Tour & Elephant Camp Visit a local Spice Garden to learn about the region’s famous spices. Optional: Proceed to an Elephant Camp for an elephant ride (charges extra).
  06:30 PM Cultural Evening (Optional) Attend an evening cultural show near Kumily, such as Kathakali or Kalaripayattu (charges extra).
  08:00 PM Dinner & Overnight Dinner and overnight stay at the Thekkady hotel.
  🗓️Day 2: Thekkady Wildlife & Border Views
  Time Activity Description
  07:00 AM Periyar Lake Boating (Optional) Early morning activity: Proceed to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary for the famous boat ride on Periyar Lake (tickets must be secured in advance). This is the best time to spot wildlife.
  10:30 AM Breakfast Return for a late breakfast at the hotel.
  12:30 PM Lunch Have lunch in Thekkady.
  02:30 PM Viewpoint Sightseeing Visit the scenic Parunthumpara Viewpoint or other border viewpoints for panoramic views of the adjacent Tamil Nadu plains.
  05:00 PM Local Market / Leisure Spend time at leisure or shopping for local spices, tea, and souvenirs in Kumily town.
  08:00 PM Dinner & Overnight Dinner and second overnight stay at the Thekkady hotel.
  🗓️Day 3: Return to Theni via Suruli Falls
  Time Activity Description
  08:00 AM Breakfast & Check-out Enjoy breakfast and complete check-out formalities.
  09:30 AM Drive to Suruli Falls Start the drive back towards Theni, making a major stop at Suruli Falls (Approx. 1 to 1.5 hours drive).
  11:00 AM Suruli Falls Visit Visit the beautiful two-stage Suruli Falls (where the Suruli River descends from Meghamalai). You can take a refreshing dip (if allowed) or visit the nearby Suruli Velappar Temple.
  01:00 PM Lunch En-route Have lunch near Suruli or on the highway closer to Theni.
  03:00 PM Vaigai Dam (Optional) Make an optional stop at the scenic Vaigai Dam to visit the reservoir or park area.
