Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Srinagar Arrival Srinagar

  On reaching SRNAGR at 01:30 noon, our representative will meet and greet you and driver towards hotel, check-in to the hotel and relax till afternoon. Have your lunch. Srinagar is the summer capital of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated in the Kashmir Valley and lies on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus. The city is famous for its gardens, lakes and houseboats. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dry fruits.
  Etymologically Srinagar is composed of two Sanskrit words, śrī (venerable) and nagar, which means “city”. One theory of the origin of the name is that a Pandava King Ashoka (not to be confused with the Mauryan Emperor Ashoka) built the city of Srinagari (Srinagar). Another theory is that Mauryan Emperor Ashoka founded the original city of Srinagar, then situated on the site of the present village of Pandrethan, 5 km to the north of the existing capital.
  Later go and exlore the Dal Lake and enjoy Shikara ride. Later come back to the hotel and have a comfortable stay.

• Day 2 : Srinagar local sightseeing

  Today after early morning breakfast leave for visit of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jahangir in 1632 A.D. and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jahangir for his wife Empress Noor Jahan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountainsin the background. Evening enjoy Shikara Ride in Dal Lake. Overnight stay in hotel at Srinagar.

• Day 3 : Srianagr To Kargil Via Zojila Pass

  Today after breakfast, you leave for Kargil. This day comes with a lot of challenges as you will have to bike through flatlands and get into the mountain-range-horizon En route Leh, you cross Sonmarg, Zojila Pass, Kargil War Memorial and Drass village. By late afternoon, you reach Kargil. On arrival check into hotel. Spend evening chilling out at the place. Overnight stay at hotel in Kargil.

• Day 4 : Kargil To Leh

  Today after breakfast, you leave for Leh via visiting Lamayuru Monestary, Alchi Monestary, Gurudwara Pather Sahib and Magnetic Hill. By late afternoon, you reach Leh. On arrival check into hotel. Spend evening chilling out at the place. Explore the culture and geography of Ladakh in the next few days. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

• Day 5 : Leh Local Sightseeing

  LEH PALACE-SHANTI STUPA-SPITUK MONESTARY- Hall of fame
  Today after breakfast, spend the whole day sightseeing at Leh. It’s time for us to get acclimatized to the thin air, followed by an entire day at leisure in the capital city of Leh. Leh has gracefully meld Muslim and Buddhist culture; the town is flecked with Monasteries and Mosques. There are many eating joints at the central street which serve a wide variety of cuisines. This day, explore Leh on foot and visit the Old Fort which looks over the city. During the day, visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Hall of fame, Spituk Monestary. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh

• Day 6 : Leh To Pangong Lake Via Shey Thiksey (225 Kms)

  LEH-SHEY-THIKSEY-PANGONG LAKE

  Today after breakfast drive to Pangong lake (world’s highest salt lake) visiting, Shey Palace complex are structures located on a hillock in Shey, 15 kilometers to the south of Leh in Ladakh. Shey was the summer capital of Ladakh in the past & later visit Thiksey monastery, the twelve storied monastery of Thiksey is situated in the most prominent of positions, lies on an island Mountain. Arrive at Pangong in camp & leisure at Pangong Lake. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 ft, is bisected by the international border between India and China. Overnight stay at camp in Pangong.

• Day 7 : Pangong To Nubra Via Shyok River

  Pangong – shyok -NUBRA
  Today after breakfast drive towards Nubra via shyok. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra check into Camp. In the evening, walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. Overnight stay at the Camp in Nubra.

• Day 8 : Nubra To Leh Via Diskit & Khardung La

  LEH-KHARDUN LA TOP-NUBRA
  Today after breakfast, checkout from camps and visit Diskit Monestary. Later we start our drive towards the world’s highest motor-able road- Khardungla Pass. The road journey from Nubra to Leh Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable road in the world) AT 5,602 M / 18,390 FT, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Later drive towards Leh. Overnight stay at the Camp in Nubra.

  Leh local market
  After breakfast we have rest till noon and later we will explore the local market for shopping purpose. Enjoy the taste of local food in the Ladakhi Market. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.
