Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : (Bagdogra (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) - Namchi)

  Welcome on arrival at IXB/NJP meet our representative and transfer to Namchi(110kms/3.5hrs), meaning ‘Sky High’, nestled among the hills at an elavation of 4400 ft. Commands panoramic view of the snow –capped mountains and vast stretches of valley. It is also the Headquarters of the South District. The area is fast developing into a tourist destination with its immense potential for all round tourist activities. It is about 78 kms from Gangtok and 100kms from Siliguri. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 2 : (Namchi Half Day Sight Seeing & Transfer to Gangtok)

  After breakfast go for half day local sight seeing covering the famous Siddheshwar Dhaam commonly known as CharDhaam. Near Namchi in South Sikkim is Samdruptse which means in Bhatia langue “The Wish Fulfilling Hill”. A 135 ft unique statue of Guru Padmasambhava is installed at the top of Samdruptse. H. H. Dalai Lama laid the foundation stone of the statue on 22.10.1997. It is said to be the highest statue of Guru Padmasambhava in the world. By afternoon transfer to Gangtok(90kms/3.5hrs). at an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the Capital of Sikkim. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 3 : (Excursion Trip to Tssomgo Lake & Baba Mandir)

  After breakfast half-day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32 kms from Gangtok City, the oval shaped lake is almost about 1Km long, and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people,After that visit 18 kms from the lake Baba Mandir, (temple of disappeared army personal) and back to Gangtok. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at hotel. (Optional tour is, Nathula the Indo-Chaina border is 20 kms. from Tsomgo lake (subject to availability of special permit for Indian tourist only on additional payment at Gangtok for separate permit)

• Day 4 : (Gangtok half day sight seeing & transfer to Darjeeling)

  After breakfast go for half day local sight seeing covering Ban Jhankri falls, Cottage Industry, Flower Show, Ropeway, Assembly, Nam Nang view point, Chorten Stupa , Institute of Tibetology. By afternoon transfer to Darjeeling (110kms/4hrs), Once the summer capital of India, Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm. It will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature charming Himalayan people. Surrounded by Tea gardens; this little town faces some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 5 : (Darjeeling local Sightseeing - Full day)

  Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak), Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the Hotel. After breakfast followed by Half day best point local sightseeing covering RopeWay, Tenzing rock, Gombu Rock, Padmaja N. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center and Rock side. After that visit to the Mall (Chowrasta) along with local Market for City Life. Overnight at hotel.

  • Themes : Mountaineering

• Day 6 : (Darjeeling to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport transfer)

  Morning transfer to IXB/NJP ( 85kms / 3.5hrs). Tour End.
