Bonanza Peak is a sheer, rugged mountain, the highest non-volcanic peak in the Cascade range. Its steep peak rises from a complex network of ten ridges and seven glaciers, and its northern and western flanks present one of the highest mountain walls in the range. It rises just east of the Pacific Crest Trail, in the Glacier Peak Wilderness Area. The volcanic Glacier Peak rises to Bonanza's southwest.
