Day 1 - Arrive in Delhi Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 2 - In Delhi After breakfast at hotel, full day combined city sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi visiting Qutab minar, Humanyu's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial), Lakshminarayan Temple a modern hindu temple. Drive past President's house, Parliament house and Secretariat building. Also visit Raj ghat and Shanti vana the Cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort (Red fort is closed on every monday) and Chandni Chowk. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3 - Delhi - Rishikesh After breakfast at hotel. In time departure transfer to railway station to connect train for Haridwar. On arrival meeting and assistance and transfer to Rishikesh hotel.
Day 4 - In Rishikesh Full day free for independent activities. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5 - In Rishikesh Free for independent activities. Spritual / Yoga activity (Optional) Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6 - Rishikesh - Chandigarh After breakfast at hotel, drive by surface for Chandigarh. On arrival in Chandigarh check in at your hotel. Chandigarh capital of the State of Punjab which is considered to be the land of golden harvests. The whole city has 48 blocks and modern buildings. Designed by the French architect Le Corbusier at the beginning of the 50s, Chandigarh is the first planned city of India and the capital of Haryana as well. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 7 - Chandigarh - Dharamsala After breakfast at hotel, there is a short sightseeing tour of Chandigarh. Visit the Rock Garden, the creation of Nek Chand who transformed his dream of building a temple to the Gods and Goddess' out of discarded items of everyday use like bottle tops, tin cans, etc.
Day 8 - In Dharamsala Dharamsala is a beautiful hills station in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is also the place where the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of the Tibetans, has established government - in - exile. Leave for a sightseeing tour of the hill station. First, you will visit the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) and attend the various culture programs taking place there. Then, you will visit Norbu Lingka. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 9 - Dharamsala - Amritsar After breakfast at hotel, drive to Amritsar. On arrival in Amritsar check in at your hotel. Amritsar was founded by the fourth of the ten Gurus, Guru Ram Das in 1577. The world famous Golden Temple, Harmandir Sahib in which is enshrined the Holy Book of the Sikhs, the Guru Granth Sahib, is the centre of a 400 - year - old pool in Amritsar. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10 - Amritsar - Delhi After breakfast, half day sightseeing of Amritsar, famous for the Golden Temple. The name Amritsar is derived from Amrit meaning 'Nectar' and Sar which means 'Pool', which is the small, holy lake around which is built the Golden Temple. The holy book of the Sikhs "Guru Granth Sahib", is enshrined here. Next to the Golden Temple is the Akal Takht established by Guru Har Gobind Singh in the early 17 century. This is the supreme seat of Sikh temporal authority. Another edifice is a 9 storey tower built in memory of Baba Atal Rai decorated with frescos depiting the life of the founder of Sikhism Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Near by is the Hindu Durgiana Temple dedicated to goddess Durga. In the evening we transfer to the railway station to connect the Shatabdi Express train to Delhi (1705 / 2250 hrs). On arrival in Delhi transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 11 - Departure Delhi In time departure transfer to International airport to connect flight for onward destination.
