Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive in Srinagar - Afternoon Local Sightseeing

  On arrival at the Srinagar Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle. From the airport it is a 35 minutes’ drive through the heart of New Srinagar city .It is the largest city and the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies in the Kashmir Valley on the banks of the Jhelum River, at an elevation of 5,200 feet (1,600 metres) in the Vale of Kashmir, a tributary of the Indus, and Dal and Anchar lakes. The city is known for its natural environment, gardens, waterfronts and houseboats. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts like Kashmir shawls and also dried fruits. It is the northernmost city of India to have over one million people, the 32nd most populous city in the country, and the second largest city located in the Himalayas, after Kathmandu .We will visit the famous Mughal gardens and its bagh`s like Nishat Bagh built by Nor Jahan `s brother, Asif khan in 1633 A.D Cheshma Shahi and Pari Mahal-built by Shah Jahan in 1632 A.D and Shalimar Bagh built by Jahangir for his wife empress Nor Jahan Built in between a period of 14 years the two gardens are a heritage left behind by the erstwhile Mughal, whose taste for laying exquisite gardens was fascinating on the foothills of Zabarwan Mountain ranges with an overview of picturesque Dal Lake with a backdrop of the sprawling Zabarwan Mountains, the gardens boast of green turfs, blooming flowers and cascading water fountains. We will explore the gardens & visit Shankarya Charya temple known as Jyeswathra, occupying the top of the hills about (1000 ft) above surrounding the Takht-e-Suleiman plains of the east of Srinagar. All these gardens are situated near the bank of Dal Lake near the Zabarwan hills in the background and also visit a world-famous carpet weaving factory known for its export handicraft products. After with welcome traditional Kashmiri Kahwa to be served during check in & overnight stay in houseboat.

• Day 2 : Day Excursion to Gulmarg

  Morning after breakfast, we will begin our country side trip towards Gulmarg know as (The Meadows of Flowers), It is situated at an elevation of 8,500 feet (2,600 metres) the drive past colorful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski Slopes in world, and one of the highest golf courses in world with 18 holes. You can enjoy a view of Naga Parbat if the show weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. We arrive at a small picturesque market town of Tangmarg and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. We arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon and begin a short tour around the meadow familiarizing ourselves with the beauty. In Gulmarg we will board the Gondola cable car system, and ascend towards the Affarwat Mountain range. Gulmarg -Gondola ride will be given to the snow Peak, enjoy a cable car up to Alpather via Kangdoori by Asia’s longest run cable car ride (approx. 5 Kms). Altitude wise, it is the World’s highest run cable car conquering almost 14000 feet The 08 minutes of rope-way will take you past colorful shepherd huntsmen to the lower ridge of the Affarwat peak. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour or so. Return back to srinagar for Overnight Stay in Hotel.

• Day 3 : Day Excursion to Pahalgam

  Morning after breakfast proceed towards Pahalgam which is known for valleys and Bollywood movies. Leave from your hotel refreshed and satiated with your breakfast and move towards Pahalgam. On the way do some local shopping for Saffron and Kashmiri antics. On reaching Pahalgam, you should visit the Baisaran valley famously called as mini-Switzerland. You will have to use ponies (at your own cost) to ride to Baisaran valley as no vehicle is allowed to go there. Also, the route remains closed during adverse weather conditions. In Pahalgam, we’ll also visit Aru Valley, Chandanwari valley and Betaab valley (Included). They are all famous for being the site for Bollywood movies. Return back to srinagar for Overnight Stay in Hotel.

• Day 4 : Day Excursion to Sonamarg

  Morning after breakfast, we will begin our trip for Sonamarg which means ‘Meadow of Gold’ situated at an altitude It is situated at an elevation of 8960 feet (2,730 metres) above sea level and distance of 125 Kms Covered in 03 Hours One Way. On arrival sightseeing in Sonamarg visit Sonamarg sheer scenic splendor, situated on the way to Ladakh. It offers Spectacular Mountain ranges with varied geological features. Some of these mountains which rise to a height of about 5,300 meters from sea are lavishly green and some are barren and rocky. Sonamarg has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sind meanders along here and abounds with trout and masher, snow trout can be caught in the main river. In late March when Sonamarg is open for road transport, you can have access to snow which is furnished all over like a white carpet. A close-by excursion is to Baltal, 15 km north of Sonamarg. This little valley lies at the foot of the Zojila, only a day's journey away from the sacred cave of Amarnath is a base camp for Amarnath Yatra. Trekkers can also reach the starkly splendid roof-top of the world Leh, by crossing over the Zoji La pass. Ponies can be hired for the trip upto Thajiwas Glacier a major attraction during summers. Enjoy a fun filled Pony ride (on direct payment). Return Back to Srinagar for an Overnight Stay.
