Gulmarg Gondola is a cable car serving in the hill town of Gulmarg. This ropeway project is the joint venture of the government of J&K and a French firm known as Poma. It is a dual-stage gondola lift and operates at a great height of 13, 780 feet above the sea level. It operates between Gulmarg Resort and Kongdoori Mountain. INR 18 crore was invested in the construction of Gulmarg Gondola.

Gulmarg Gondola is famous because of many reasons but the prime reason remains its operation between the resort and Kongdoori Mountain. It has a capacity of carrying 6 people at a time. It offers a great panoramic view of the enchanting snow-clad peaks of the Himalayas to the higher elevation where the venture of skiing can be enjoyed by the adventure-lovers.
Reaching atop the ropeway balcony provides an astounding panoramic view of the great Afarwat Peak.
