Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Swift Journey & Evening Darshan (madurai To Guruvayur)

06:00 AM Pick-up & Departure Your Sedan will pick you up from Madurai. An early start is essential for this long journey (approx. 5 to 7 hours driving time).
08:30 AM Breakfast Stop Stop for a quality breakfast near the Dindigul/Palani highway area.
01:30 PM Arrival & Check-in Arrive in Guruvayur. Check into your pre-booked Luxury Hotel/Stay near the temple (e.g., Devaswom property or similar high-end hotel).
02:30 PM Lunch & Rest Enjoy lunch and a short rest period, essential after the long drive. Note: Temple is usually closed from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
04:30 PM Guruvayur Darshan (Deeparadhana) Head to Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple. Complete the Darshan, timing it for the auspicious Deeparadhana (6:00 PM – 6:45 PM). Remember the strict traditional dress code.
07:30 PM Optional Temple Visit Visit the nearby Mammiyoor Shiva Temple (believed to complete the pilgrimage).

Morning Rituals & Return (guruvayur To Madurai)

03:30 AM Nirmalyam Darshan (Optional) Early wake-up for the sacred Nirmalyam Darshan (3:00 AM to 3:30 AM) at Guruvayur Temple for a divine experience.
08:00 AM Breakfast & Check-out Enjoy breakfast. Check out from the hotel.
09:00 AM Local Sightseeing Visit Anakkotta (Elephant Sanctuary), a unique sight where many of the Devaswom elephants are kept.
11:00 AM The Journey Back Begin the comfortable Sedan return journey to Madurai.
01:30 PM Lunch En Route Stop for a coordinated lunch near Palakkad/Pollachi.
