Day 1 : ARRIVE SANCTUARY SUSSI AND CHUMA - ACTIVITIES
Meet and Greet at Johannesburg International Airport by African Unique Safaris and Tours owner Michael Savage. Michael will warmly welcome you, provide a safari brief and any information necessary, and then see you safely on to your flight to Livingstone Airport, Zambia.
From Livingstone Airport you will be picked up and transferred to Sanctuary Sussi and Chuma by a camp representative, meet the friendly staff and check into your exclusive tree house retreat.
You can either explore or relax at Sanctuary or book one of the below inclusive activities.

Day 2 : ACTIVITIES SANCTUARY SUSSI & CHUMA
Start your day after breakfast with a choice of inclusive activities. Highly recommended in the morning would be a game drive through Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. The park is home to elephants, impalas, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, crocodiles and zebras, which can all be seen from the comfort of a custom-built 4×4 vehicle.
In the afternoon maybe experience the Zambezi River with a two-hour canoeing trip. The canoeing trip will start from the lodge and can be combined with either a game drive or a boat cruise. Canoeing is offered all year but is weather dependent. Dry bags will be provided for valuables. The bellow are inclusive

Day 3 : TRANSFER TO SANCTUARY CHOBE CHILWERO
Spend the morning at your leisure enjoying the activities on offer. Why not try something not experienced yet.
Meet in the reception area where a lodge representative will assist you with your road transfer to Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero. It’s only a 1.5 hour drive away to a whole new world.
Upon arrival to Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero you will be greeted by staff and checked into your thatched cottage.

Day 4 : ACTIVITIES SANCTUARY CHOBE CHILWERO
Enjoy a full day of exploring the area at your own pace.
Go deep into the heart of Africa’s largest concentration of elephants in a thrilling guided game drive. See hippos, buffalos, antelope, lions and other native African animals as they gather on the banks of the Chobe River.
This morning’s drive will be conducted in a 4×4 vehicle and includes coffee, tea and freshly baked confectionaries.
Return to the lodge for lunch and spend the day at your leisure.
Step aboard a water safari on a specially adapted motorboat. Sit back and sip on a cocktail as you watch the African sunset over the still waters of the Chobe River. This is a great opportunity to see wild buffalo up close as they come out of the shade to graze in the cooler evenings and elephants wade into the river to cool down from the day’s heat.
Relax with a delicious dinner back at the lodge.

Use your final full day at Chobe experiencing the activities on offer that spark your interest.

Day 6 : TRANSFER TO SANCTUARY STANLEY’S CAMP OKAVANGO
Start your day with a morning game viewing activity followed by breakfast at the lodge.
After breakfast you will be transferred to Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp in the Okavango Delta, via chartered aircraft from Kasane Airport which is only a 10 minute drive from Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero. The flight to Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp will take around 1 hour.
A representative will meet you at the Sanctuary’s airstrip where you will be transferred to the camp (transfer time is approximately 50 minutes).
Once you have checked into your exclusive accommodation – one of just eight classic styled safari tents, the afternoon is at your leisure to enjoy the game viewing activities.
Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp offers a completely unique educational experience with a group of semi-habituated African elephants. This activity is at an additional cost and we recommend booking upon arrival.

Day 7 : ACTIVITES SANCTUARY STANLEY’S CAMP OKAVANAGO
We suggest you book and take up today your inclusive activity “LIVING WITH THE ELEPHANTS” (approx. four hours). Go on a morning walk with the three orphaned elephants who have been raised in the area and are comfortable being around humans. Tour their home range and watch them foraging for food (activity at an additional cost). 8

Day 9 : TRANSFER FROM STANLEY’S TO TAU GAME LODGE
Madikwe Game Reserve is a malaria-free reserve
Begin the day with a morning game viewing followed by breakfast.
You will then take a chartered flight from Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp to Maun Airport. Then fly from Maun airport to Gaborone Airport on the edge of Madikwe Game Reserve with Air Botswana. This is about a 2 hour trip. You will be met at the airport and transferred to Tau Game Lodge which is just a quick drive over the border in to South Africa, about a 1.5 hour drive.
The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure to either swim in Tau’s pool, relax, spa or take up one of the inclusive activities. Up to two game drive per day/night.

Day 12 : TRANSFER TAU GAME LODGE TO JOHANNESBURG
The morning is at your leisure before we transfer you to Gaborone Airport for your connecting flight back to Johannesburg. Depending on your boarding time in Johannesburg you can enjoy Tau’s activities and facilities. At the least you will have time for activities up until late morning and if a late Johannesburg flight then in to the early afternoon.
