2 Days Mathura Vrindavan Trip Itinerary

Dwarkadhish Temple Vishram Ghat Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple

Day -1 MATHURA
* Start with an early morning drive from Delhi to Mathura, a city 162 km from Delhi. As you arrive in Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, visit Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, a place believed to be the exact birthplace of Krishna. Feel the spiritual energy and history of this temple.
* After lunch in Mathura, visit Dwarkadhish Temple, an architectural wonder dedicated to Lord Krishna. Then visit Vishram Ghat where Lord Krishna is believed to have rested after killing Kansa. Take a peaceful walk along Keshi Ghat and other ghats of the Yamuna River. The ghats are not only sacred but also offer beautiful views of the river.
* nd the day by exploring Mathura’s local markets. Shop for traditional souvenirs like Krishna idols, brass items and Mathura peda, a sweet. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Mathura.

Day 2 :- Vrindavan

Banke Bihari Temple Prem Mandir

* This is your second day on the Mathura Vrindavan Trip. Start your day with a short drive to Vrindavan which is just 10 km from Mathura. Begin at Banke Bihari Temple one of the most famous Krishna temples in India. The temple is famous for its morning aarti and the devotion it inspires in people. Then go to ISKCON Vrindavan Temple a peaceful place for spiritual seekers known for its kirtans and calm atmosphere.
* Next stop is Radha Raman Temple famous for its beautiful idol of Radha Raman Ji and its history. Lunch at one of the popular restaurants in Vrindavan and enjoy the local cuisine.
* In the afternoon visit Prem Mandir a beautiful temple made of white marble. This is an architectural wonder with scenes from Krishna’s life. Then head to Seva Kunj and Nidhivan the mystical gardens where Krishna and Radha used to spend time together. These places are steeped in divine mythology and have an air of mystery around them.
* End your day at Keshi Ghat where you can see the evening aarti. The reflection of the lamps on the calm waters of the Yamuna River is a divine sight and will leave you spellbound. After taking in the spiritual atmosphere of the evening start your return journey to Delhi with drop off at your desired location.
