3 Night 4 Day Bardiya National Park - Nepal Tour

Package Overview

Situated in the western terai of Nepal and started life as a Protected Area for hunting in 1976 gazetted as the Royal Karnali Wildlife Reserve ; In 1982 was renamed the Royal Bardia Wildlife Reserve . in 1984 the Babai valley extending from Paraodwar to Chepang was added to the Reserve bringing it to its present size. In 1988 the reserve was upgraded to National Park status.
The park offers a variety of experiences in its vast undisturbed wilderness. About 70% of the forest consists of Sal trees with a mixture of grassland and riverine forests. Sal leaves are used in festival and religious offering. The park is home to endangered animals such as the Royal Bengal tiger, wild elephant, Greater one-horned rhinoceros, swamp deer, and black buck, The other endangered species include gharial-crocodile, marsh mugger and Gangetic dolphin. Current checklists include 407 bird species, among them the Bengal florican, white-rumped vulture, peafowl, and bar-headed geese, which are symbolic of the park. Lesser florican, Silver-eared Mesia and Sarus crane have also been sighted.
We will be exploring this untouched nature’s wonder for 3 nights – 4 Days . Starting our Journey from Lucknow we will head towards the Nepal border to reach our destination .

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Our journey begins at Lucknow at 10.00 am on the arrival date.
  An AC vehicle will take us towards the Nepal Border at Rupaidiha /Nepalgunj .
  We have to take the entry permit over the border and after that we proceed to the destination .
  We will have a light food and breakfast during this Journey .
  Upon arrival at our Destination check into the luxurious Home stay
  Join for a small Presentation on Bardia National Park and conservation efforts .
  Have a stunning dinner and get into the beds for night sleep .

• Day 2 : Bardiya National Park

  Early Wake-up call at 6.00 AM , have the breakfast and proceed for the full day Jeep Safari .
  At about 5.00 PM we come back and join for the days experience with a camp fire followed by the dinner .
  Get into the beds for night sleep .

• Day 3 : Bardiya National Park

  Wake-up call at 6.00 AM
  Proceed for the Jungle walk to track the terai Tiger and the other Mammals .
  Come back by 5.00 PM and join for the discussions and experiences .
  After the dinner get into the bed for the overnight .

• Day 4 : Departure

  Wake-up call at 6.00 AM
  Have our breakfast and proceed for a small Birdwatching trail of about 2 hours .
  Come back by 10.30 and have our early lunch .
  Pack up our bags for the return journey towards Lucknow .
  Reach Lucknow to proceed for our return journey.

GETTING READY FOR THIS JOURNEY

• Carry your Passport along with you since we will be entering into the terai region of Nepal .
• Carry a big cloth / bandanna / scarf to protect you from the dust
• Body Warmer for the chilly early mornings.
• Good foot-ware , Sun screens are very important.
• It is advisable to carry basic first aid along with you.
• Please carry Odomos to keep you protected from mosquito bites.
• Carry a pair of good Binoculars / Camera
• Carrying Adequate batteries for camera will be an added advantage.

Child Policy

• Child below 4 Yrs of age will be complimentary
• Above 5 -7 Yrs of Age it will be considered 75% of per head cost
• Above 7 Yrs of age will be considered as adult
