A picturesque town circled by the majestic Myntdu River. Jowai was the summer capital of the Jaintia Kings of Sutnga State. You will visit India’s most magical waterfall – Krang Suri, Meghalaya. Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee in Meghalaya is one of the wettest places on the planet and the only place in India to receive rain throughout the year. The town of Cherrapunji is nestled in the East Khasi Hills about 50 km southwest of the state’s capital, Shillong. Cherrapunji, also known as Sohra or Churra, means ‘the land of oranges. The cliffs of Cherrapunji also offer stunning views of the plains of Bangladesh. Visit to Seven Sister Falls, Nahkhalikai Falls, Mwasmai Cave, eco – park. This morning proceed for Mawlynnong. This little colourful village is known for its cleanliness,which is Asia's cleanest village. Explore the Root Bridge, Sky Walk and Natural Balancing Rock. 4th Day (Wed 6th March) : Shillong - Sightseeing & Departure
Breakfast at hotel, then visit Don Bosco Museum, which provides a glimpse of the life, culture and history of Northeast India. This building is seven storeys high, with each level representing one of the seven sister states of the Northeast. (closed on public holidays), (on direct payment by guest), Cathedral church, Wards lake (Closed on public holidays ) & lady Hydari park Visit market at Police Bazaar, shop for Souvenirs. Then bid farewell to your tour with some wonderful memories. After that all Tour Guests will be transferred to Shillong Airport.
