Chail is a beautiful hill station in Himachal Pradesh and one of the best offbeat places to visit in India. The gigantic deodar and chir pine forest, the beautiful valleys, temples and wildlife sanctuary make it a complete family holiday destination. Located at a distance of 45 km from Solan and 44 km from Shimla, the place is away from the hustle-bustle of the city. Chail is home to several mountain peaks and is considered as the hiker’s paradise. The place has several tourist attractions including the cricket ground, which is situated at an elevation of 2,250m and is the highest cricket ground in the world.
