Best Time to Visit: Rwanda offers year-round gorilla trekking, but the dry seasons from June to September and December to February are ideal.

• Day 1 : Arrival in Kigali & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

  Arrival: Touch down at Kigali International Airport where you’ll be greeted by your guide.
  City Tour: Embark on a brief tour of Kigali, exploring key sites such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial and local markets.
  Transfer to Volcanoes National Park: After lunch, enjoy a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park, home to the mountain gorillas.
  Dinner & Overnight: Relax at your chosen lodge near the park.

• Day 2 : Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

  Morning Briefing: Early breakfast followed by a briefing at the park headquarters on trekking rules and guidelines.
  Gorilla Trekking: Set off into the forest for a once-in-a-lifetime experience of tracking and spending an hour with a family of mountain gorillas. The trek can vary from 1 to 6 hours depending on the gorillas’ location.
  Post-Trek Relaxation: Return to your lodge for lunch and a well-deserved rest.
  Optional Activities: Visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village for a cultural experience or relax at the lodge.
