Experience the most amazing sites Vietnam has to offer on this 4 days 4 nights trip of the north. Set sail through Halong Bay in style on our elegant ship by Oasis Bay with a lovely jacuzzi and available spa services. After a big day around the bay and a lovely night sleep on board we will head back to hanoi for the next leg of the journey. Next take an overnight train headed near the northern Chinese border to the stunning rice field tiered mountain sides near the town of Sapa. You get an amazingly authentic experience hiking to a local village in the mountains before returning back to Sapa town for a night stay in our 4-star hotel. Finish your trip in Vietnam’s capital city, Hanoi.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Ha Noi - Ha Long

7h45 - 8h30: We will begin to pick guests up from you respective hotels at 7:45 so please be ready and patient, we will collect you all as quick as we can, so we can get the bus heading 189kms towards Halong Bay.

12h30: Arrive at Tuan Chau harbour and refresh at the Oasis Bay Lounge for about 20 minutes before boarding.

13h00: Transfer by small boat to our cruise. Welcome drink, cruise briefing, safety instructions, before we check you into your cabins. Cruise boat will pull-up anchor and our program will commence.

13h00-14h30: Special lunch will be served on board while cruising past all the islets. After having lunch, the Oasis Bay will continue exploring the wonders of Halong bay. Oasis Bay has a special and very private route through the bay, away from the clutter of all the other honking boats fighting for position

15h30-17h00: Explore the emerald waters of Halong Bay by Kayak. Our guides will you through a grotto cavern into a hidden lagoon where they tell you all about the area, and the folklore of how ‘Ha Long Bay’ got its name (translates to ‘Descending Dragon Bay’). This is a great moment to get some action photos in the bay, if you have a waterproof pouch for your phone or camera.

17h15-18h45: Relax on the sundeck with a few cocktails complimented by a variety of tropical fruits and best local wines. Then attend a cooking demonstration with our Chef to learn one of the most popular cuisines in Vietnam: spring rolls, or refresh yourself in outdoor big Jacuzzi.

19h00-20h00: Enjoy a 5 course tasting menu, prepared by our team of chefs

21h00-23h00: Evening Activities, relax at leisure: squid fishing.

Day 2 : Ha Long - Ha Noi - Sa Pa

6h30: Wake up to a very special morning with an organized Taichi class among the peaceful surroundings of Halong.

7h00-7h30: Coffee & tea with assorted homemade pastries, fresh juices….

8h00-9h00: Relax or visit Sung Sot Cave, hiking up and down 600 steps to the magnificent limestone stalactites and stalagmites of the most beautiful and biggest cave in Halong bay.

9h30: Check-out of your cabins and settle your drink tab

10h30: A wonderful brunch buffet will a wide assortment of dishes no matter what mood you are in, will be served while the Oasis Bay is cruising back to Tuan Chau harbor.

12h45-13h00: The Oasis Bay bus will collect you from our lounge at the harbor and drive you back to Hanoi city.

17h00-17h30: Arrive in Hanoi and you will be dropped off at your hotel. Be sure to get some dinner in you. This is your only meal on the trip that is not included. We also recommend bringing some snacks for the overnight train ride.

20h00:Pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the train station. Take a tourist night train to Lao Cai (Sapa), 4 people in 1 cabin, you will share a cabin with other tourists.

Day 3 : Trekking in Sapa

5h30:Your tour guide will meet you at the station and transfer you by minivan to the hotel for breakfast and coffee/tea.

9h30: Leave your baggage behind and start trekking. With your guide you will walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the foot of the stunning waterfall, and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French, during the colonial time in Vietnam

12h00: Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river.

13h00: Keep trekking 6 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes.

14h00: Pick up back by van and drive back to Sapa

14h20: Arrive at your hotel in Sapa.

18h00-20h00: Have dinner served by the hotel

Day 4 : Muong Hoa Valley - Y Linh Ho village - Ta Van village

8h00: Have breakfast at the hotel.

9h30: Start trekking in the other direction of the day before, walking down 6km to the south east of Sapa, along the side of Muong Hoa valley, to Y Linh Ho village, of the Black H’mong. Continue on 2km of trekking down to Lao Chai village, of the H’mong.

12h30: Lunch at a local family’s home, and then walk through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village, of the Dzay minority people. You will get to wander about and see the lifestyle, ancient customs, and observe the daily life in the hill tribe villages. It is a very unique way of living, much different from our own developed and hectic world. Take time to unwind and let your shoulds sink down and relax. Your neck will appreciate looking up and around, rather than down at a LCD screen all day. Enjoy the landscapes.

15h00: Return to your hotel in Sapa by minivan.

18h00: Have dinner before going to train station. Take night train back to Hanoi.
Your tour finishes at Hanoi train station.

Payment Terms & Methods : DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

1. Pay by Bank transfer

Bank transfer is one of the popular ways of paying for goods or services these days, and because it can be done either in person in the local branch of your bank or using your online banking service it is both flexible in how it works but also secure.

Paying via bank transfer is simpler than you probably think it is. Bank transfers can be made from any branch of your bank or using your online banking services provided you have access to your bank’s online service. We will provide for you our bank account and it is easy for you to make your money transaction. After you are complete works at your bank branch you will inform us your transaction information by email and your transfer bank slips. We need 3 – 5 days for complete money collection from our bank before sending the payment confirmation to you.

2. Paying by PayPal

If you transfer money from a USD account opened outside the U.S., add 3.9% + U.S. $ 0.3 as PayPal fees to your total.

If the transfer was made from an account not in dollars, add 3.9% + 2.5% (exchange fee) + U.S. $ 0.3 as PayPal fees to your total.

To avoid the complication for our customers, we will count those costs and add to your order

Note: When Paypal or have reason to doubt that your payment is fraudulent, we have the right to keep your reservation and ask for another payment method.

Special Notice: Viland Travel mostly uses PayPal for refund the services. Since Paypal is so easy and any individual can work with, VTT does not receive payment by Paypal as we use our System of Onepay.vn that only the REAL companies can use with Logo, trade mark in any voucher you pay.

3. Pay by credit card

With Visa or Master Card - Viland Travel™ is supported by the payment system of Viland Group., Jsc. All of your card information is processed through SSL protocol with international card security standard. Your card information will not be stored at our system (merchant) but MasterCard with international security standard.

After you have received your Order from us through a link, please check the information of the Order. If all the information is correct, please read & agree with Terms and Conditions before clicking to pay.
You will be redirected to OnePAY Payment Gateway to pay us online with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and JCB Card .

Note: In some cases, your transaction may be not successful due to:
- In correct card information
- Not enough credit balance (daily or monthly)

4. Money transfer via third party

Many of our customers may not be familiar with paying via money transfer agency such as: May Bank, Western Union, Money Gram…but It is so fast and efficient.

You will come to money transfer agency and then simply fill in the form as required. We will provide you the recipient information. Completely works with your branch you need to send us following information:

MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number)
Full name of the sender (first name, middle name and last name)
Full address of the sender
The sum of money
Your order number (Or the answer for your secure question)
Notice: We will confirm your payment with you when we successfully withdraw money from the local agency.

5. PAYMENT& DEPOSIT

A deposit of 30% or 50% (Depend on accommodation type included on itinerary) of the tour value or US$ 300 per person by credit card or bank transfer plus bank charges (processing fees) is required upon confirmation of your booking (If this amount is less than US$500, we would suggest you to pay us in full before you arrive). Once a deposit is received it is understood that you have read, understood and accepted all our Terms and Conditions.

The remaining balance of the tour value (70%) is due upon your arrival in indochinaprivatetours, payable at our office. Cash is preferred to reduce any processing fees that may affect your cost.

6. CHILD DISCOUNT

Free of charge for one child who is under the age of four years old when accompanied by at least two full paying adults and share the same room with them. This discount is subject to availability for airfares and will be charged if any usage of airfare on tour.

A tour price of 75% of full paying adult will be charged for one child from 4 to 11 year old when accompanied by at least two full paying adults and stays in the same room. An extra bed is provided without any payment.

Children at the age of twelve or older will be charged as an adult. Please be prepared to show appropriate identification clearly stating the date of birth when confirming the services.

Cancellation & Refund Policy :CANCELLATION

We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to Viland Trave, however we realize that there are many valid reasons that this can happen.

In the event of cancellation, the cancellation fee will be applied as below:

More than 45 days prior to departure: The total deposit paid to us (30% of tour value) will act as your cancellation fee to cover hotel charges and organization fees. (Because to book accommodations for your tour, we need to pre pay for all hotels as in your itinerary)
07 – 14 days: 22 - 45 days prior to departure: 60% on total value of the Tour Cost charged, due to hotel charges for no-shows and organizing fees.
01 – 06 days: Within 1-22 days prior to departure: 100% on total charged.
No-Show: 100% on total charge.
After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your willingness, early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.

SPECIAL NOTES:

Viland Travel™ Cancellation received up to 45 days before departure.
You need to pay more if the cancellation of a member in your tour group causes the change of the Tourist Class.
