5 Nights 6 Days Leh Ladakh - Srinagar Tour Ex - Srinagar

On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle. We begin our drive towards the majestic mountain resort of Sonamarg. The route towards Sonamarg takes us on a picturesque country side drive where we will come across rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams and blooming rice fields. We will zoom past the town of Kangan which handles all the local needs of this region. From Kangan, we will drive towards Mammar, famous for its trout farm and stopover for a warm cup of tea before we head towards Sonamarg. We will once again alight from our vehicles at the tourist spot of Gagangir. The spot is built in the middle of the river Sindh and looks like an island with snow glaciers covering one or the other spot. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

After breakfast in the morning, we will begin our country tour towards Leh. Soon we will come face to face with the Zoji La pass were the roads are much narrow. Driving at this pass is much difficult as the road is made by cutting the mighty mountains by BRO (Boarder Roads Organization) and these roads are the toughest to drive. We will take breath taking halt at Kargil war memorial at Drass, where you will get the opportunity of listening to the brief about the war memorial by Army personal. Later we can halt at Nimmu to experience river rafting. We will reach Leh in the evening and relax in a hotel for overnight stay.

We will start our onward journey towards Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass which is the highest motorable road in the world. The drive from Leh to Khardung La is about 50 kms. We can stop for our lunch in a small village Khardung which is at the foot hill of Khardung La. We can pay a visit to a monastery called Diskit. We will reach Nubra valley in the late afternoon which is well known for Sand dunes and the Double Hump Camels. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Hunder village.

We will start our journey toward Pangong lake and the roads are difficult and bumpy, at some places. At Pangong lake you will be lost in the scenic beauty of the lake, and the water of the lake have different shades of color, crystal clear & chilling cold. Pangong lake lays 70% in China and 30 % in India. The beauty of the Pangong lake has been cherished even in many Bollywood movies like 3 Idiots. On our return journey towards Leh we will touch the second highest motorable road i.e. Changla La. We will reach Leh in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

We will start our country tour towards Srinagar and will reach Srinagar in the late evening. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar.

After a late morning breakfast, we will drive to the airport for your return flight home. At the airport the driver will assist you with your luggage screening and drop you outside the terminal gate. The trip will leave you with warm thoughts and memories of Laddakh.
