Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival In Guwahati – Transfer To Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga National Park

Pick up from Guwahati Airport. Drive to Kaziranga National Park (World Heritage Site, covering 430 sq. km). Wildlife: One-horned rhinoceroses, tigers, elephants, panthers, bears, and numerous bird species. Evening: Visit a nearby tea garden and enjoy a local cultural program. Overnight at a resort in Kaziranga.

Day 2 Jungle Activities At Kaziranga – Transfer To Shillong

Early morning Elephant Ride in the Central Range (Kohora). After breakfast, proceed for a Jeep Safari in the Central Range. Post-lunch, check out and drive to Shillong. En route visit Umium Lake, the largest man-made lake in Northeast India. Reach Shillong and check in at a city hotel. Evening: Leisure time or shopping at Police Bazaar. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 3 Shillong – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong

After breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia. Explore the village and take a Sky Walk for a panoramic view. Visit the Living Root Bridge. Post-lunch, drive to Dawki. Visit the Umngot River, known for its crystal-clear waters. The suspension bridge marks the gateway to Bangladesh. Return to Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 4 Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee, the wettest place on Earth. Visit key attractions: Nohkalikai Falls (the tallest plunge waterfall in India). Seven Sisters Falls. Mawsmai Caves. Ramakrishna Mission. Eco Park and Thangkharang Park. Return to Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 5 Shillong – Guwahati Sightseeing

Brahmaputra River

Early morning drive to Guwahati. Visit the Maa Kamakhya Temple, a prominent Shakti Peetha. Post-breakfast, visit Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, a cultural center depicting the life and culture of Assam. Evening: Enjoy a Brahmaputra River Cruise (subject to availability, direct payment). Overnight in Guwahati.
