The lake is home to millions of tiny crustaceans, attracting literally thousands of lesser flamingos and it is therefore one of the most important flamingo breeding grounds on earth. The area around Lake Natron contains some of the most harsh and amazing scenery in Africa. After a lunch in midday, together with your guide, you will be accompanied by a local Maasai guide and walk up to the Engero Sero Waterfalls. You’ll stop for a picnic lunch along the way, then continue to the heart of the park—known as the Seronera area. This central region, nourished by the Seronera River, is one of the most wildlife-rich habitats in the Serengeti and teems with iconic species year-round.
