Chobia pass is one of the most beautiful trek to lahul. Chobia pass is the 2nd highest pass in the pirpanjal mountain ranges. The gaddies(shepherds)spending winter in lower himachal and panjab come back Bharmour and move towards lahul and spiti through kugti, kalichoo and chobia passes to graze their sheep's and goats. The pass is risky at the time of snowfall. Best time to trek to chobia pass June to frist week of September. Chobia pass is lies between two peaks TENT peak(6145)and BARAKANDA peak(5870) of pirpanjal ranges.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival

Arrival at pathankot on arrival met to our representatives and then transfer to chamba town on taxi. Where you will be staying in the hotel. Dinner and night stay in chamba.

Day 2

Drive to Bharmour

After breakfast drive to Bharmour by taxi. After lunch trek to Bharmani located 4 km away from Bharmour on the top of ridge. A magnificent view of Bharmour velly.after some time at Bharmani will move to 84 ancient temple for evening AARTI then back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 3

Drive to chobia village

After breakfast drive to chobia village here we trek towords katheru temple. The walk takes you through devdar forests and walking along the stream towards the temple. We stay over night here in tent.

Day 4

Trek to baggi Goth

After breakfast we start trek to baggi Goth. The trek gose all along with a velly. After reach baggi Goth a gradual ascent which leads to Alyass or base camp here tonight.

Day 5

Chobia Pass

Today a very long trek it takes maximum 4,5hour to reach at top of chobia pass. Trek starts start early in morning light breakfast and with pack lunch. Trek through difficult trail,that Lead to top of pass. After much effort we reach at top of pass to rest and watch the magnificent view of pirpanjal ranges. The descent from here is little bit risky and needs careful guidance.4km of tiring descent is over ice covered boulder and snow we reach the second camp Aliyass base. We camp over night here.

Day 6

Chobia Pass

Alyss -trilokinath 10km. descent for 6km over rocky terrain, then descend gently to the small village of Bhaghot. stay for while and move ahead from there the track along the river, through forest and pleasant fields and reach repay. The big village has an ancient buddist Temple. Here night stay will be in hotel /guest house.

Day 7

Departure

After visiting main temple of mirkula mata at udaipur. We will move to kelong, disst headquater. After kelong we will be move to Manali via rohtag pass. On reaching Manali here our team will depart the troop with good wishes and the hopes to visit again.
