7 days 6 night Kaziranga Manas Shillong tour

On arrival at Guwahati airport meet & welcome by Traditional Gamucha with our representative and drive to Kaziranga National Park. Upon arrival check into the wildlife resort. Overnight stay at wildlife resort.

Today we will awake a little early(timing will be informed before dinner) and will ready to the Forest for safari on Elephants back. Here we will be moving through the tall grass while the morning mists slowly lift is an experience that one won't forget easily.
We will return to the resort for breakfast. After breakfast we will go on our first Jeep safari to the national park for wildlife viewing in the central zone.
Later return to the resort for fresh-n-up and spent the time till lunch. After lunch we will go on our second jeep safari of the day, this time we will visit the Western zone of the national park. One can also spend some time at the Donga view point, situated in western zone. Later return to the resort for overnight stay.

After breakfast drive to Manas National Park, situated within the foothills of Himalaya in the north bank of the Brahmaputra River.
On reaching Manas National Park transfer to your pre-booked accommodation. Evening enjoys the vicinity around your accommodation or have pleasant walk around the place. Overnight stay in Manas.

This morning we will start our day little early and will move to the Elephant boarding point for our first Jungle ride to the Manas National Park on an Elephant back. The Elephant safari is the best medium to explore a wildlife sanctuary and view the wildlife from a very close. The one hrs Elephant safari will take us to the dense and narrow paths to increasing the chances of animal sighting.
Later we will return to the resort for fresh-n-up and breakfast. After breakfast we will be ready for our first vehicle safari to the national park. The vehicle safari to the national park will be for two to two and half hours. Here we will be moving on the wild path of Manas National Park to explore the most stunning pristine wildlife habitat. The Brahmaputra valley with its semi-evergreen forest. The forest is very rich in species of all Indian wildlife. Here you will have a chance to view the only known home for the rare and endangered Assam Roofed Turtle, Hispid Hare, Golden Langur and Pygmy Hog.
After Jeep safari return to lodge and evening free . overnight stay in Manas.

After breakfast we will leave for Shillong.. On the way, make a halt at Borapani Umiam Lake. It is a famous picnic spot and is exactly the kind of place for nature lovers. The chain of hills that surround it, coupled with the clouds that cast their shadows over it, lend it an extraordinary beauty. There are various legends associated with the lake, one of which is that it was formed by the tears of a local deity. After arriving, complete your check in formalities at the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

A hearty breakfast awaits you in the morning. This is followed by a drive to Cherrapunjee, which is one of the wettest places in the world. You will be visiting the Nohkalikai Falls, which One of the must see places in Cherrapunjee. It is the tallest plunge waterfall in India which drops from a height of 1115 ft. The plunge pool at the base of the waterfall is noted for its deep green coloured water. You can also check out the other caves dotting this place. Begin your drive back to Shillong. On the way, make a brief halt and visit two beautiful places to visit in Cherrapunjee, Elephanta Falls and Shillong Peak. Elephant Falls are a three-tiered waterfall, where each tier can be viewed through a stairway. Situated atop a hill inside an Indian Air Force Station, the views from here closely resemble that of Scotland. The views of the canyons and the meadows below, with the clouds caressing them from above, makes for some incredible photography and bring that smile to your face naturally. Return to Shillong in the evening. Stay overnight at the hotel.
