In the morning, leave by road for Wokha (80 kilometers/ 4 hours). The place is known for its hilltop villages. Longzu, means a large Monolithis, have been erected by the rich ancestors to show off their status. Stay overnight in the tourist lodge.

In the morning, hit the road to Mokokchong, home of Ao Naga, and a great place for people who are interested in folklore customs and traditions. Stay overnight in Mokokchong.

In the morning, leave by road for Mon (150 kilometers/ Approx 8 hrs drive), the homeland of the Konyak tribe known for their exquisite craftsmanship. Here, one can purchase excellent wood carvings and machete. Stay overnight on Mon.

In the morning, drive towards Jorhat. Stay overnight in Chung Bungalow/hotel.

Kaziranga
Today, drive towards the Brahmaputra river and board the ferry to visit Majuli Island. In the evening, return back to Jorhat Ghat and drive towards Kaziranga (110 kilometers/ 2.5 hours). Stay overnight at Kaziranga.

Early morning, set off for an elephant safari followed by a jeep safari. Stay overnight at Kaziranga.
