Baños - 2 Days

Your guide will be happy to meet you at your hotel at 8 AM and take you on this 2-day private mini trip to Baños. During the 3 hour drive you will definitely notice the landscape turning into a lush green forest.

Upon arrival we will start with the exploration of this touristic little town where we will visit the pretty cathedral, try some of Baños’s famous ‘Melcocha’ candy made out of sugar cane and relax in one of the natural hot springs, known for their healing properties due to various minerals. Your accommodation tonight will be in a comfortable tourist class hotel near the town’s center.

After breakfast we will explore the waterfall route, which has many beautiful waterfalls such as the Agoyan and Manto de la Novia. At both waterfalls you can take a thrilling cable-car ride across the valleys offering you a more closed up view.

On this route we can also observe one of the biggest waterfalls of the area; the Pailon del Diablo. The 20 minutes hike down to the suspension bridge will reward you wat an amazing view of this impressive waterfall. Besides you can choose to climb up even further so you can stand on one of the three platforms build to have a more closed up view. The hike back up will take about 60 minutes approximately.

In the afternoon you will make your way back to Quito where the guide will leave you at your hotel.
