Day 1

ARRIVE JAMMU-KATRA

Upon arrival you will be met by our representative and drive to Katra. The distance is about 50 kms, will be covered in about 2 hours, upon arrival in Katra you will be transferred to the hotel. Katra is the starting point for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. Dinner and overnight in Hotel

Day 2

KATRA-VAISHNO DEVI KATRA

Mata Vaishno Devi

Early in the morning we proceed further to visit the Holy temple of Vaishno Devi. This temple is situated on the top of the hill. To visit this temple one has to hire a pony or travel by foot. From Katra the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage is about 12 kms. After visiting the temple we return back to Katra the same day. Dinner and overnight in Hotel

Day 3

KATRA-PAHALGAM

Pahalgam Hills

After breakfast check-out from hotel and proceed to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) The total distance of about 250 kms, will be covered in about 7 to 8 hrs. Pahalgam is situated at the union of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. Pahalgam is now Kashmir's premier resort; cool even during the height of summer when the maximum temperature does not exceed 25 degrees Celsius, upon arrival check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.

PAHALGAM-SRINAGAR

SRINAGAR: HALF DAY SIGHTSEEING

Dal Lake

Morning sightseeing of the Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh built by Asaf Khan, the brother -in- law of Jehangir in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh built by Jehangir for his wife empress Nur Jahan. All the gardens are situated on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background. Afternoon will be at your leisure for individual activities. Dinner and overnight in Hotel

Day 6

SRINAGAR-GULMARG-SRINAGAR

Morning proceed for Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 mts. above the sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hours. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes. If weather permits one can also have the view of Nanga Parbat, the naked mountain that is over 26,000 feets and dominates the entire region, also enjoy cable car (Gondola) for mountain ride upto khilangmarg. In the evening drive back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight in Hotel / Deluxe houseboats.

Departure from Srinagar

After a scrumptious breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to the Srinagar airport to continue your onward journey.

Important note:-
In pahalgam:sightseeing of chandanwari, betaab valley, baisaran valley and aru valley are not included. If one wishes to visit the same, they can hire a taxi directly at pahalgam taxi on their own.
In gulmarg:the vehicle is allowed to drop at main gulmarg or at your hotel and from there onwards one has to walk or can go by ponies on direct payment for local sightseeing in gulmarg. If there will be snowfall our vehicles are allowed till tangmarg only, from tangmarg to gulmarg guest have to take chained jeeps by their own at additional cost (approx. Cost shared basis 500/- per person / private jeep 2000/- )
Insonmarg:the vehicle is allowed to drop at main sonmarg and from there onwards one has to walk up to thajwas or one can go by ponies on direct payment. (route is closed during heavy snowfall)

Any Airfare, Train fare, Overland Journey which is not mentioned in the Itinerary.

Important Information :
AC will not be functional on Hills, Terrains or Slopes.
In case of road closure (During the Winter Months)due to snow from Tangmarg - Gulmarg Tangmarg or Gagangir - Sonmarg and/or vice versa our vehicle (as per local administration/Govt. Law) will not be allowed to move as precautionary measures and only jeeps with special chains on wheels are allowed to move. These vehicles can be hired on direct payment basis or same can be arranged by us on additional cost.
In Gulmarg (Round the Year) horseman union does not allow any vehicle to pickup or drop guests at/from Gondola. Also any Sightseeing tours by vehicles inside Gulmarg are not allowed. Apharwat, Khilanmarg, and Kongdori peaks are for skiing and to Kanchenjunga Museum is not included. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.
During (During the Winter Months) Sonamarg remains closed and vehicles can only go up to Gagangir.
Due to the heavy snow falls roads from Jammu – Srinagar – Jammu is open for traffic al- ternatively or vehicular movement may remain suspended for traffic, depending on weather conditions, and road may get block anytime without any notice, in such conditions we have no control over the road and thus we won’t be liable for any such conditions. Best possible help will be provided to the customers in such conditions.
Jammu/Katra to Pahalgam/Srinagar takes approx 10 - 12 Hrs One way depending on the road and traffic conditions. You are requested to consider the above while making train or flight reservations.
Thajiwas Glacier, Fish Pond, Zero Point Krishansar and Vishansar Lake at Sonamarg are not Included in the given cost.
