Early morning drive to Cherrapunjee. Enrooted we visit Shillong Peak, Elephanta Falls. On arrival we visit Nohkalikai Falls, Mousamai cave, Ramakrishna Mission. Return to Shillong in the evening.Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast excursion to Mawsynram (60 kms/2 hrs drive–one way). Mawsynram of Meghalaya is located at a distance of 60 kms from Shillong. It is situated around 1 km towards the north of the village of Mawsynram. This place is famous for the gigantic formation of stalagmite, which resembles the shape of a 'Shivalinga'. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Bordering India & Bangladesh, hidden away in a distant corner of Meghalaya in North East India, is a little-known hamlet calledMawlynnong has earned an accolade guaranteed to inspire. Known as the cleanest village in the whole of Asia, a title bequeathed by UNESCO and National Geographic, the people of this locality have taken it upon themselves to make the difference, Mawlynnong’s citizens ensure that their environment is clean and their way of living sustainable to the environment. After early breakfast we will take you for day excursion to Mawlynnong Village, which has earned the distinction of being the cleanest village in India. It is situated approx 90 kms (both way). from Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. Mawlynnong nestled in the pristine hill state of Meghalaya. A dustbin made out of bamboo is found all along the village. Everyone makes it a point that dirt and waste are not thrown everywhere. All the waste from the dustbin is collected and kept in a pit, which the villagers use as manure. The villagers are now on a mission to ban plastic. After visit return back to hotel, free evening. Overnight halt at Shillong.

After breakfast visit Shillong city including ward’s lake, Donbosco Musuem, cathedral church. Afternoon drive to Guwahati (120 Kms/4 hrs drive). Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast drop at Guwahati airport. – Tour End with sweet memories.
