Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Cochin to Munnar

Once you arrive at Cochin Airport/Railway station our representative will meet you. Then you will drive towards Munnar hotel, basically famous for greenery and hills.
You will also find a few interesting waterfalls in the city. You can have a visit Tea Plantation. On the way you will visit Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls (depending on the time you reach Kochi) best place for trekking and taking some memorable.
Once you reach Munnar. Check-in at the hotel overnight stay

Day 2

Munnar sightseeing

Start your excursion with a visit to Eravikulam National Park, which is the most prominent attraction of this region
Later, visit Mattu petty Dam, a concrete dam built to produce hydroelectricity. Next stops are Echo Point and Flower Garden

Day 3

Munnar to Thekkady (4 hours)

Later, in the afternoon, go for a spice plantation tour (surcharge), which involves a visit to the estates where spices like tea, cardamom, vanilla, coffee, pepper, rubber, cinnamon, and ginger are grown

Thekkady Sightseeing

Today you can choose to do activities at Periyar National Park. This place is a major tourist destination, especially the activities of wildlife, adventure seekers, elephant rides etc. Please note the following activities that can be done at an additional cost. Pre-booking is recommended:

Quick breakfast and leave the hotel for travel to Alleppey/Kumarakom known as best backwater places in south India which include a different kind of Moving Houseboat stay.
In Entire India, this is only the place where in you can do the sightseeing via houseboats.
Experience a 3 hour cruise in the house-boat

Allepey to Cochin Airport

After breakfast check out from the hotel and move to Cochin airport to Complete your journey

AC in the vehicle would be turned on only in the plains. In the hills, it would be turned off
Driver would understand English/Hindi but don't expect them to be fluent
Driver would act as guide and no separate guide would be provided
Pre-booking is recommended for certain activities. Please get in touch with us
Driver would be available from 9 AM to 7 PM.
The itinerary can be changed during the trip. Any additional payment for detour should be paid directly to the driver. The final say, to tweak the itinerary lies with the driver
Additional terms and conditions for the house-boat
The houseboat has limited facilities and resources. Do not compare with Hotels and Home.
The storage capacity of the water tank in the Houseboat is limited. So please do not waste water. Keep the water tap closed after use.
Please remember to switch off fans, lights while not in use. In a case of failure of electricity, water supply, A/C etc. please inform the crew immediately.
Please do not drop sanitary napkins, plastics and other insoluble things in the closet.
Air Condition would be facilitated in the Bedroom from 09:00 PM to 06:00 AM.
You can use A/C anytime required in PREMIUM / LUXURY Houseboats.
The A/C in the houseboat will not cool suddenly like in home and hotels. It will take 30 minutes to 1 hour to be in power.
An only fixed menu consisting of Traditional Kerala cuisines will be available on the boat.
You must inform in advance if you require any extra food items other than the fixed menu.
For non-veg, the possibility of getting any kind of meat items may not be possible once the houseboat starts.
The fish items can buy from the lakeside shops with direct payment.
Swimming in the lakes is strictly prohibited.
Check in at 11:30 AM and Houseboat will start by 12:00 PM. Check out is at 09:00 AM next day for the overnight cruise. Also, there will be a lunch break for about 1 hour.
The Houseboat will anchor by 5:30 PM for the night stay and will retain the cruise the very next morning at 08:00 AM. There is no cruising in the lake allowed in the evening hours or late night.
To help to maintain the privacy of the Backwater culture, guest is requested to retire for the night by 10:00 PM.
Breakage, destruction of any property of the Houseboat would solely be the responsibility of the guest and would be charged for the same.
Do take care of your personal belonging and baggage before you leave from the Houseboat.
The presence of flies, small insects are the Natural Habitat in Backwater. It cannot be 100% eliminated. The presence will be there at night in lights.
There will only limited access to TV, Music System
Kindly cooperate with the crew, so that they can serve you better.
