Rishikesh, sometimes nicknamed "the world capital of Yoga", has numerous yoga centers that also attract tourists. It is believed that meditation in Rishikesh brings one closer to attainment of moksha, as does a dip in the holy river that flows through it. Rishikesh is world famous for Rafting and other adventure sports. Rafting season starts from the month of Oct and ends in June. During this trip we will be doing rafting on turbulent Bhagirathi and Ganges. This trip is suitable for experienced rafter’s as-well novices; however rafters have to have love to water and basic swimming skills.
Delhi - Jolly grant - Rishikesh Camp (Drive 40km; 1hr)
Pick up at Haridwar railway station/Jolly grant Airport. Drive to Rishikesh camp for Lunch. Afternoon detailed briefing about the rafting and safety followed by an introductory rafting run from Marine drive to Shivpuri (8km: 2hrs). Evening bone fire, Dinner and stay in tents.
Wake up early and drive to put in point on Bhagirathi River (3hrs) breakfast on the way. Get into rafting gear, safety briefing and raft down on turbulent Bhagirathi whitewater, we will negotiate few grade 3 rapids and finally grade 4 confluences rapid. We will carry on with placid section till Vyasghat. Devprayag is known for its confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda River, where Ganges is formed. Camping on silver sandy beach.

Rafting on Ganges ( Vyasghat - Shivpuri)
Breakfast and get ready for rafting from Vyasghat to Shivpuri. This is long day starting with a placid section and great views inside the gorge. As we pass through Koudiyala River gets turbulent again with famous rapids like Denial’s dip (Class 3), The Wall (class 4) and Three Blind Mice (class 3). We will end our rafting at Shivpuri. Dinner and stay in tents.

Rafting (Shivpuri - Rishikesh) Final Departure
A lazy morning followed by breakfast. This will be our final day of rafting on some of the most exciting rapids on River like Return to sender(class 2), Roller Coaster (class 3), Golf Course (class 3) with lots of floating rapids. We end our rafting at NIM beach. Changing and Lunch at NIM beach. Drop to Airport/Railway station
