Arrive early in the morning to Ivano-Frankivsk railway station. Transfer to Kolomyya town. Take a guided tour around the downtown. Visit the Hutsul Folk Art Museum of to get to know local culture better. Take a masterclass in traditional Easter-egg painting. Overnight in a family-owned guesthouse.
Travel to the heart of Carpathians – Bily Slon campsite – the base for your three-day hikes. During the testing hike with an experienced guide you’ll ascende the altitude of 1184m of Kosaryshche-Stepanskyy mountain range, discover the beauty of mountains in fall or winter. In the evening relax back in the campsite. Distance to cover: 15km. Overnight in a hostel.
This day the strongest will cover 28km of mountain paths ascending to the altitude of 1583m of Mt. Skupova and 1250m to the magnificent megalithic Uhorski Rocks. Enjoy a home-made lunch with a Hutsul family. Overnight in a hostel.
On the last day of your winter challenge you will conquer the Kostrych mountain range (1586m).Distance to cover: 20km. Transfer to Ivano-Frankivsk railway station.
