Khatu Shyam Ji Temple: A highly sanctified place and great pilgrimage destination, Khatu Shyam Ji temple is located in the centre of the town and built with pure Makrana marble. Its shining look is due to the extensive use of this marble only.

The main God of the temple is ‘Barbareek’, the grandson of Mahabharata character Bhim. He is worshipped as Khatu Shyam Ji and is considered as the God of modern period which is also known as ‘Kaliyuga’. It is believed that the idol is in the form of a head which appeared in the holy pond ‘Shyam Kund’. The head was retrieved and installed in the temple. The architectural features of the temple are worth exploring which are simply excellent. Night rest.

Shyam Kund: A holy pond, Shyam Kund is located nearby Khatu Shyam Ji temple. It is a widespread belief that a dip in this holy water can cure anyone from diseases and keep them healthy. It is a very deep water body.


Shyam Bagichi: A holy garden located nearby Khatu Shyamji Temple. It is known as Shyam Bagichi. Devotees pick up flowers from here to offer to the idol. A famous memorial of one of the great devotees is also located here.


Gourishankar Temple: Very famous place of worship Gourishankar temple is devoted to Lord Shiva and it is located nearby Khatu Shyamji Temple. A widespread legend says that the soldiers of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb wanted to destroy it and attacked ‘Shiva Lingam’ with a spear. People say that the blood gushed from it and the soldiers fled away. Mark of the lance can still be seen on the Lingam.

Khatu Shyamji Fair: This fair is held in devotion of Khatu Shyam Ji. It is a famous three-day annual event that takes place in months of February and March. Devotees take part in various entertaining and devotional activities and shopping during these three days.
