Devkund waterfall trek is a dream destination for travellers looking for a mix of a moderate hike that leads to a vast space of emptiness. The first sight of this beauty leaves you spellbound by its humongous size.

So where is this beauty located?

The famous Andharban trek starts at Pimpri dam and ends at Bhira dam (Bhira village) which lies approx 100 km from Pune. A short 2 hrs trek from Bhira leads to Devkund waterfall.

This trek can be done by amateurs as well. The approximate length of the trek is 4.5km which includes a hike alongside the Bhira dam, patches of forest cover, a small water stream, and open fields. There is no big ascend throughout the trek excluding the last 10% which requires a 300 ft approx of gradual ascending to finally reach the waterfall.

The clearest blue waters make the beauty of the waterfall unrealistic.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Mumbai

04:00 am Reach Base village and take some rest
06:00 am Freshen up and have Breakfast, Tea
06:30 am Introduction round and brief on rules and regulations to be followed by everyone on the event
09:00 am Reach devkund waterfall and have a break for around 2 hrs
11:00 am Start descending to the base village
01:00 pm Reach Bhira dam, take some rest along with the lunch break
02:30 pm Leave for Pune
08:00 pm Reach Pune and bid adieu with a promise to meet soon.
Event Fee: Rs.1,200/- per person. Payment once done is non-refundable, do check for availability before making a payment.

Travel Schedule

We’ll be boarding non-A/C bus from our nearest pickup point. Bus timings are shared below for convenience:

10:30 pm Shivaji Nagar, Bus Depo
10:45 pm Fergusson College Main Gate or Deccan
11:00 pm Nal Stop, Shankarrao Kirloskar Marg, Apex Colony
11:15 pm Vanaz Corner Pedestrian Crossing, Kothrud
11:30 pm Chandni Chowk, Bavdhan, Pune
Meeting Point : Swargate 10:00 pm

Things To Carry

Some ready to eat food like- plum cakes, fruits, chocolates, biscuits, etc
2 Litres of water must
Good trekking shoes
Extra pair of clothes, socks optional
Cap, Camera as Optional
1 packet of electrol, enerzal, glucon-D
Medications if required for individual
Avoid wearing precious ornaments on an event, if possible
And a haversack or backpack to put all the above things to be carried, so hands are free to help each other while trekking. Sling bags / jholas / trolley bags etc not allowed on the event. Please pack accordingly.

Important Notes

Basic toilet facility will be available at the base village. Considering it an outdoor activity, please prepare accordingly.
We advise participant with any medical issues /history not to opt for this event. Still If he/she does so, it should be at the participant’s risk. The management won’t be responsible for any incident.
Considering complicated route and respecting everyone’s time, we will not entertain any participant reaching base village by his/her own vehicle. One can come till meeting point by his/her vehicle and park it there and join our transport from there.
Smoking/drinking/smoke up is strictly prohibited during the event. Anyone found doing so will be immediately expelled from the event.
We request you to go through the complete itinerary. Since it is a group event, we will not be in position to entertain any request of leaving early from the event. Respecting the fellow trekmates, please adhere to the schedule and take back lovely memories.
