Dodital Trek Tour

We assemble at Haridwar Railway Station and start our 175 Km Long Journey towards Uttarkashi. The drive winds along the rivers and valleys offering beautiful views and soon we reach Sangamchatti in Uttarkashi, our camp site for the night. After Dinner Overnight at Sangamchatti

We stretch our muscles ahead of the trek, after breakfast we head towards our next campsite Bherva. Initially we ascend gradually along the Paddy fields of the villages. The route is used by villagers living in villages lying along the trail. After crossing the villages of Agoda and Bherva we reach the campsite. After Dinner overnight at Bherva campsite.

Today is a long day, as we head towards Dodital, it’s a 16 km long stretch and may take upto 8 hours depending upon your pace. The trail is a well laid path and is relatively easy. We trek along the route and halt at Manjhi Campsite and have our packed lunches. After lunch we trek for another two hours and get to beautiful Dodital Campsite. The lake is famous for Golden Masheer Fish however fishing is not allowed here as the lake is held sacred by the locals and has another name Dhundital (Ganesh Ji’s Lake) it also is known as birth place of Lord Ganesh. Today is our exploratory day, we start after breakfast and carry only our day bags with necessary items like water, packed lunches, ponchos, flash lights etc. Today we ascend the 4150 Meter high Dwara Pass Top, the top offers almost 360 Degree View of Himalayan Ranges which includes peaks like Swargarohini& Bandar Puchh. After having our packed lunches and spending some time at top we descend to the Dodital Campsite. Hot Lunch will be served, evening is to relax and explore the beautiful campsite. After dinner overnight at Dodital Campsite.

After breakfast we follow the same route towards the Bherva Campsite. The trek will take around 5 Hours and we will reach campsite by afternoon. After Dinner overnight at Bherva Campsite

Last day of trek, we have our breakfast’s and head down towards the road head where our transport awaits us to take us back to Haridwar, trip ends
