NELONG
Nelong valley is a hidden paradise in uttrakhand. The valley situated 45 km from Indo-China border. Nelong valley is located at an altitude of over 11000 ft. above sea level and has a scene almost similar to mountain desert & looks almost similar to Lahaul-Spiti & Leh-Ladakh.

The Valley is 23 Kms drive up to zero point. The real beauty is on way to Nelong where your heart says indeed this is Switzerland of India , You will find deep valleys of river Ganges, herds of sheep grazing in greenery of Himalayas.

This valley boasts of mountain desert topography. The picturesque valley is a part of the Gangotri National Park and is home to endangered animals such as the snow leopard, musk deer and blue sheep.

GOMUKH
For some a spiritual trip while others a dose of adventure, the trek to Gomukh is sublime one. A famed trek of the Uttrakhand region, the trail are dramatic, where civilisation is not possible, impeccable natural scenery and wilderness.

The trek from Gangotri to Gaumukh, which is approximately 19 kilometers is one of the popular and spiritual treks in the Garhwal Himalayan region. The journey continues to follow the course of River Bhagirathi, cutting and running through the thick cedar and pine forest. Further, it embarks upon a beautiful alpine meadow that is dotted and patched with several wild and colourful orchids. The rewarding view of the Gangotri group of peaks and Jogin peak and stretch of Himalayan range that forms a silver cascade makes the entire strenuous trek a walk to paradise.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Arrival at Chandigarh, dinner and overnight stay at hotel

• Day 2 : Harsil

  Early morning depart for Harsil via uttarkashi. Check-in hotel, overnight stay (meals on own cost)

• Day 3 : Nelong Valley.

  Have breakfast (own cost) and depart for Nelong Valley. Take permission by forest officials by showing permit (will be arranged by us) given by SDM. Enjoy 27 kms drive in nelong valley up to zero point and return back. Visit Gangotri Temple, offer prayer and enjoy darshan. Overnight stay at hotel (meals on own cost)

• Day 4 : Bhojawasa

  Morning after breakfast trek to Bhojawasa via Chirbasa from Gangotri, we move along the beaten trek towards Chirbasa, which is on tree line. The entire trek today is along the roaring Bhagirathi River. From Chirbasa trek further to Bhojawasa. The entire trail passes through dense forest. Arrive Bhojawasa, overnight stay at GMVN tents (meals at own cost)

• Day 5 : Bhagirathi

  Early in the morning enjoy the panoramic view of Bhagirathi group of peaks. After breakfast (own cost) trek to Gomukh, the source of Ganges. Gomukh is where the water of Ganga trickles from the glacier. Explore the area. Trek down to Gangotri overnight stay at hotel( meals at own cost)

• Day 6 : Departure

  Morning after breakfast (own cost) start our return journey towards Chandigarh. Transfer to airport/railway station/bus stand to catch your onwards journey.
