Nelong valley is a hidden paradise in uttrakhand. The valley situated 45 km from Indo-China border. Nelong valley is located at an altitude of over 11000 ft. above sea level and has a scene almost similar to mountain desert & looks almost similar to Lahaul-Spiti & Leh-Ladakh.

The Valley is 23 Kms drive up to zero point. The real beauty is on way to Nelong where your heart says indeed this is Switzerland of India , You will find deep valleys of river Ganges, herds of sheep grazing in greenery of Himalayas.

This valley boasts of mountain desert topography. The picturesque valley is a part of the Gangotri National Park and is home to endangered animals such as the snow leopard, musk deer and blue sheep.

GOMUKH
For some a spiritual trip while others a dose of adventure, the trek to Gomukh is sublime one. A famed trek of the Uttrakhand region, the trail are dramatic, where civilisation is not possible, impeccable natural scenery and wilderness.

The trek from Gangotri to Gaumukh, which is approximately 19 kilometers is one of the popular and spiritual treks in the Garhwal Himalayan region. The journey continues to follow the course of River Bhagirathi, cutting and running through the thick cedar and pine forest. Further, it embarks upon a beautiful alpine meadow that is dotted and patched with several wild and colourful orchids. The rewarding view of the Gangotri group of peaks and Jogin peak and stretch of Himalayan range that forms a silver cascade makes the entire strenuous trek a walk to paradise.
