Arrive at Srinagar airport or railway station and be transferred to a hotel in Srinagar amidst the snowy hills. After some rest, you will go on a Shikara ride on the beautiful, serene Dal Lake. Catch a glimpse of Char Chinar, an island with beautiful Chinar trees and take a pit stop at a garden nestled in the middle of the lake, which is known as Nehru Park. Then return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Have a good breakfast at your hotel and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Visit the beautiful Mughal Gardens – Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi that were built by the Mughals in the Persian style of architecture. Take a stroll in these gardens and admire the colourful flowers and greenery. Also visit the Shankaracharya Temple, an ancient temple built on the hill. Then explore the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, Pari Mahal and Nigeen Lake, before retreating to your hotel for the night.

After a good breakfast, you will leave for Pahalgam on this day. En-route, take a walk through the Saffron fields and explore the ruins of Avantipur (a historical site built by King Avantivarman, which is now a protected site under the government). Check in at a hotel in Pahalgam and then visit the famous Betaab Valley – where the Hindi movie ‘Betaab’ was shot. Also visit other places of interest such as the Aru Valley (a gorgeous tourist spot for nature-lovers and trekking enthusiasts), Baisaran Valley, Tulian Lake (at 12,087 ft), Kashmir Valley and Dabyan Valley. Finally, you will return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Have a sumptuous breakfast in Pahalgam and get ready to travel to Gulmarg. Gulmarg, “The Meadow of Flowers” is a paradisiacal destination enveloped by snowy peaks and lush green meadows. You can enjoy an adventurous Gondola cable car ride (at an additional cost) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg, while beholding the enchanting snowy mountains around. Also visit Baba Reshi Shrine, an ancient site dating back to 1840 and named after saint Baba Reshi, a famous Muslim scholar. Alpather Lake is an enchanting site situated below the snow-capped Himalayan peaks and known to remain frozen from the months of November to June. If you are an adventure seeker, you may also opt to go skiing with the help of an instructor (at an additional cost). Your overnight stay will be at a hotel in Gulmarg.

Have breakfast in Gulmarg and then proceed to Sonmarg. As soon as you reach, you will go on to visit the famous Thajiwas Glacier that is covered in snow throughout the year. You can also go on a horse ride to reach the glacier and enjoy the breathtaking vistas. Nilagrad River is a beautiful river site, known for its disease curing and healing powers. After sightseeing, you will return to Srinagar and have a pleasant stay in a houseboat on Dal Lake.

Wake up to gorgeous sunrise views on Dal Lake. Enjoy a delicious breakfast and proceed to the airport or railway station for your drop-off. Bid adieu to the heavenly land of Kashmir and travel back home with everlasting memories.
