Day 1 Friday, 14 August 2026. Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport with airport transfer included to Arusha where the safari begins. Guests receive an introduction to the Udaay Safari team and a briefing on the itinerary. Arusha offers lively streets, markets, museums and local food and serves as a window into provincial Tanzanian life. You will stay at Venus Premier Hotel with large rooms and restaurant and views toward Mt Meru on a clear day. Meals for the day include breakfast and lunch as specified.
Day 2 Saturday, 15 August 2026. Transfer to Karatu, a bustling provincial town near Ngorongoro, with shops and local restaurants. The day is focused on Ngorongoro Crater where an early morning guided game drive explores the unique crater floor and its wildlife. Expect potential sightings of black rhinos, spotted hyenas and lions among other species. Accommodation is at Marera Valley Lodge which offers expansive grounds, a swimming pool, bar, restaurant and spacious rooms. Meals include breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 3 Sunday, 16 August 2026. Travel into the Central Serengeti heartland where the open savannah and acacia trees provide excellent opportunities to see big cats and other wildlife. The morning includes a guided game drive in the Central Serengeti with chances to see big cats elephants hyenas zebras wildebeest and giraffes. Accommodation is at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge which sits high on a hill and offers a pool bar restaurant spa and gift shop. Meals include breakfast lunch and dinner.
Day 4 Monday, 17 August 2026. Full day in the Serengeti National Park, famed for its vast horizons and abundant wildlife. Spend morning and afternoon on guided game drives tracking the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra and seeking predators such as lions leopards cheetahs and spotted hyenas, along with buffalo impalas kongoni elephants and giraffes. Return to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge for another night at this full service lodge. Meals include breakfast lunch and dinner.
Day 5 Tuesday, 18 August 2026. Another day immersed in the Serengeti with options for early morning balloon safari offering panoramic views as you drift above the plains. The day provides further game viewing and relaxation at an intimate private style lodge setting with bespoke drives champagne sunsets beneath acacia trees and evenings of fine dining under the stars. Accommodation remains at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge. Meals include breakfast lunch and dinner.
Day 6 Wednesday, 19 August 2026. Final day of the safari when you depart from the Serengeti. Morning flight from Seronera Airstrip to Zanzibar Airport as scheduled. This concludes the Tanzanian safari package. Meals for the day include breakfast and lunch and airport transfer on departure is included.
