Afternoon half day sightseeing of Haridwar.
Haridwar - "Gateway to God". It is essentially a Hindu pilgrim town with temples heritages and Dharamshalas along the banks of the river Ganga which you will visit during your stay here. Also visit Har ki Pauri the most popular bathing ghat which has a footprint of Lord Vishnu, the Hindu God of preservation on stone. According to the mythology it is known as Kapilsthan, legend goes that the suryavnshi Prince Bhagirath performed penance here to salvage the souls of his ancestors who had perished due to the curse of the sage Kapila. The penance was answered and the river Ganga trickled forth from Lord Shiva's locks and its bountiful waters revived the sixty thousand sons of King Sagara. Mythologically, drops of nectar churned out from the primordial ocean fell at the four sites of the Kumbh mela including Haridwar. The kumbha mela, happening once every 12 years and the Ardha Kumbha Mela (Coming once every six years) are big draws. Evening witness Aarti.

After breakfast drive to Rishikesh - Afternoon sightseeing of Rishikesh, including the visit to Sivananda Ashram.
Rishikesh stands for the "Plaits of the Sage", is a place of Ashrams where solace seekers come to spend their time in the serenity of God. Visit various temples and other Ashrams : Laxman Jhoola, Swarg Ashram Gita Bhawan Parmath Niketan, Jhoola Triveni Ghat Shivanand Ashram Kailash Ashram academy of Meditation. Evening time come back delhi and departure.
