Himalayan Foothills - Trek To Triund & Inderhara Pass - 4 Days / 3 Nights

Steep ascent through mixed forest of oak, rhododendron and cedar trees takes us to Triund, an alpine meadow situated on top of a ridge with beautiful views of the peaks of Dhauladhar on one side and Kangra valley on the other. Overnight in tents.

This short stage is included in order to get acclimatized to the altitude. After an hour ascent from Triund we get to Khabrotu from where we do a side walk to Kunal Pathri temple. Camp at Laka Got for night stay. Laka got is situated on the snout of a small.

Early start is important in order to avoid bad weather on the pass. During May and June we will have to walk on soft snow and ice to reach the pass but during post monsoon (Sep to Nov) there is no snow on the train. From Laka got it is steep ascent for about four hours to the pass. The pass offers beautiful views of the snowy peaks of Pir Panjal range of Central Himalayas on one side and Kangra valley on the other. Spend half an hour at the pass and start climbing down before the clouds come up. It takes another three hours to come down to the camp.

An hour to come down to Triund from where we take a different route back to Bhagsu Nag village. Trek Ends.
