Day 2

Pahalgam Sightseeing - Srinagar

Pahalgam: The day is at leisure to admire the beauty of this quiet place. One can enjoy a pony ride to nearby places like Chandanwari on your own Cost or simply walk along the Lidder An idyllic picnic spot and a gateway for Amarnath Yatra. Day 3

Srinagar city tour

Shankaracharya Temple

After breakfast, we proceed towards Srinagar and will do on the way city tour that includes visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar, the Chasme Shahi Garden, Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) and Shankaracharya Temple. Pari Mahal, and later drive back to the Houseboat for a dinner and Overnight stay at Houseboat .

Day 4

Srinagar - Gulmarg day trip (56 kilometers / 2-3 hrs drive) one way

After Breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (55 kms/2 hrs). You can do Khilanmarg sightseeing here by gondola ride at your own cost, return back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel .

Day 5

Srinagar - Sonmarg day trip (120 kilometers / 4-5 hrs drive) one way :

Today, transfer from your houseboat to hotel in Srinagar. En route embark on a full day excursion to the picturesque ‘Meadow of Gold’ - Sonmarg. Sonmarg is synonymous with quiet meadows and flower-carpeted fields surrounded by amazing glaciers, miniature plateaus, snowfields, pines and islets. You can opt for a pony ride on your own to one of the glaciers for some fun in the snow and ice. Return to your hotel.

Day 6

Departure/transfers to Srinagar Airport

Before taking this trip I read the reviews given to JUST Tours & Travels and especially the praise that was being poured on Shahji Bhai for being an excellent travel agent. I was amazed after I had spent a few days at Srinagar as the reviews proved to be so accurate and so much more. Shahji Bhai coordinated the trip so well and special thanks to his team for helping me out with instant medication to suppress my motion sickness which unfortunately happened right before the trek begun.
