Jiri Everest Trek Package

Jiri Everest trek is the most classic and primitive trekking route used by the early expeditions before establishment of Lukla airport. This trek takes starts from the Hindu lowland of Jiri (2,100m)introducing you through the entire Khumbu region from its base to the apex a Tibetan highland and providing best opportunity of acclimatizing you. Jiri Everest trek can be more appropriately called legendary trekking through the legendary land of Sherpa and mysterious yeti.

We drive for 6 hours from Kathmandu to reach Jiri via bus which is approximately 144km from Kathmandu. On the either side of the road you can enjoy the scenic beauty passing through the pine forests, rivers, alpine lakes, Emerald hills and their terraces filled with golden rice and mustard plants. As we reach Jiri our trek commences from here following the ups and downs of the trail cutting the valleys, dropping down the through the steep Dudh koshi valley and again climbing up, in to the beautiful Sherpa villages passing one by one sete to Junbeshi, Junbeshi to the famous Sherpa village of solu, from solu to Nuntala – Pakding up to Namche bazaar - where we take a day rest as a day assimilating our self. From here the trail takes us all the way through the Everest base camp trekking route offering us the incredible view of the most spectacular Mountain View from the places like Tengboche (3867m), Kalapathar (5,554m.) and Gorak Shep, and encountering the famous Gompa including Tengboche monasteries. This trek provides you an opportunity to explore through the Sherpa land and experience their culture and lifestyle which seems to be stuck somewhere in the history.
